Actually there was a trade like that which happened a few days ago at our local Buy/Sell/Thread, and that's what made me write my post :lol . Price of MISB 89 Batmobiles here have gone down significantly, from retailers to owners who bought it but have never displayed it. The lowest offers are at $570. QS001 on the other hand, seems to be one of the sought-after figures here (I assume it was because of the lack of faith that the figure would turn out great, not too many pre-ordered), and the regular version can be had for a minimum of $550.

Apart from size/space issues, there's not as much 89 Batman fans here as there are who dig Nolan Batman and I see that as one major factor behind the slow sales of this item. Even DX09 can be bought here brand new for below $200, DX 08 for $150, and DX14 are being given away as raffle prizes :lol

89 Batmobiles are not moving much up in price- too big, too expensive to ship, etc
Yes more rabid Nolan Bat fans than 89 fans in the general public(not these forums)

QS001 is going up in price on secondary but nothing dramatic. It is going up.

DX09 is red hot on Ebay and the days of finding one for less than $300 are over(with exceptions of course)

I think i'm gonna sell mine. I prefer the EB version .. I put it on the BST thread or PM me

Cheers

I have on hand three of these 1/4 scale Batman figures. One regular and two Special Editions. I tried forever on evilbay to sell these and marked them down to even $499 and not one person bid, or even made an offer on them! I have three because of a previous store credit that I had to burn up and got three when these came out. Now they are collecting dust in my closet. When I had multiples of the DX 02 and DX12 I could move them without blinking an eye!

I guess it really depends on the demograph per country/region. Here you can easily find Terminator figures including QS002 and DX13 for way below retail, but Iron Man figures here tend to be more expensive that they are in Western secondary markets. You sell those QS001s here at $499 and they'll be gone within the day.

^^ LOL It's not that hard really, especially if you have the DX12 cape down. Same way, just bigger, got mine on easily and it falls nicely :yess:

Pics coming soon!

Very nice, Chev! I love that mouth piece.

So, if I did decide to sell one, say a Sideshow Exclusive Factory sealed for around 550, how do I put it up for sale on the site?:dunno

Oh, I was talking about our local buy/sell/trade forum here in the Philippines. While $499 is good, I bet any collector from here would rather look for a local seller -- shipping would only up the price and our little country have the most sly and greedy Customs people, non of them would believe that a small package would cost below $100 so that might mean a hefty tax fee.

Yeah, I find the cape clips easier to put in that the DX12 I guess with QS001's being bigger and easier to push down. Didn't have any problems with my DX12's cape too, though. And agree with that mouthpiece -- I love it! Always thought it would be the one I'd never use, and it turned out to be the one I'm using since day one! :)

I realized after I took the picture that I had the cape on wrong. OH well, I fixed it, and the next time I post pics it won't be an issue.

I actually didn't bother trying to put a stock cape in my DX12, I just went with a custom cape right away.

Custom is great for this one too. The Tony Mei battle cape is perfect. I picked that one up early this year and couldn't believe what a difference it made over the stock cape. I don't know what it is with Hot Toys and capes. I think Zod's is the only one that they didn't screw up somewhat. :lol

Hahaha, the DX12 version scared us off initially... :lol

Hello all
Can anyone post great poses with the angry face. My guy arrives tomrw I was lucky enough to grab it from sideshow and use my points! Now it's sold out again. Thinking of an angry pose. Please post some poses with the angry face.
Thank you to all

Yeah, I really want to get the Wire one, but money is tight right now. Hopefully in the near future.
