^ The detail!... :thud: how can so many of you people not think that looks like a 68 year old Arnie?

Woah... that is woah. Too bad production paint is never that good.
paint quality is very low. doesn't match HT high modern high standarts of painting mechanical parts.
did some photoshop to make it closer to other terminators.

:lol I was thinking the same, those endo parts are going to be saturated with blood on the final figure.

In seriousness though I think those pics have it looking fantastic.

Lol, .... nice job!
this way we can use alcohol and a Q tip to remove the blood!:rotfl
brilliant!

I think HS looks really good- getting this because I realy liked Arnold in this film..but I NEED a new Sarah!!

The clean sculpt is Arnie in 84 scenes right? I feel it needs tweaks/de-aging a tad more, as it just looks like or close to current/2017 movie Arnie version minus grey hair.

I think HT have used reference shots from early on in production, as Arnies 84 scenes have been touched up a bit since to make him look less old than he is now. Originally there was very little difference shown in his aging process from 84 to 2017 periods (except for wigs and a bit of make-up). Alterations have been made in post production on Arnie in 84 scenes iirc.

When this figure comes out, will we see someone do a battle diorama with stripped down HT T1 Arnold? That would be awesome and funny!

.... any one who has a T1 Arnold basically has a nude T1 Arnold.

Well I've got a Tech Noir head on a Dutch Schaeffer body but that only looks good from the waist up. And I'm not going to try adding gunshot wounds to it, I'd prefer to keep it clean.

Nope, and the photo you show is mirrored. That battle damage gets worse when he loses the arm skin, the hot toys is correct.

The photo I showed is indeed mirrored, but that does not negate the fact that the Battle-damaged head sculpt that comes with this figure is indeed inaccurate. Like Khev already mentioned, it's from the poster(hence the sunglasses he never wears also)

Oh, I guess I'll have to go watch it again. I could have sworn that after the acid scene his face was messed up exactly like the hot toys sculpt.
Strange how all of a sudden hot toys gets the damage wrong after numerous releases where it was dead on.

I guess they don't want it to be accurate any more.
I'll go watch it again this weekend.
