i think the head sculpt is spot on, just needed a few more accessories to make it an instant PO! :panic:

That look is perfect to me.... I still think the damaged head looks less Arnie like... a bit like how in the original Terminator the effects were that bad when Arnie first started cutting himself, you could tell 'he' was fake...

This figure is not for everyone, but I cannot wait to take pics of this thing and add him to the party :rock

You definitely need this figure and Matrix to keep the party going.

Good sculpt/likeness or not, I would never put this "Pops" with my T1 and T2 collectible figure collections. Not after earlier today. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm a fan of the current Arnold anymore, so I probably shouldn't say I'm a fan at all. I'll stick to his 80s and 90s classics and try to remember him in that way. That cool badass that was actually in movies that I grew up with and loved.

If I had a gun to my head forcing me to buy Genisys product, I'd sooner buy a Genisys Asian T-1000. He might not be in it that much, but he was the only one that seemed to be sincere in his performance and had a decent resemblance to the character from 24 years ago (well, when he was in default cop mode anyway). Passing on any collectibles from this movie, Hastal la vista baby.

Alan Taylor said that for his small part Lee was relentless in trying to capture the essence of Patrick's T-1000 and was even correcting the director on what he thought his character should and shouldn't be doing in certain scenes.

From the trailers Lee's T-1000 has always impressed the most. Seems like he really had a clue.

Just saw it today. It wasn't spectacular or anything, but certainly entertaining.

It also made me realize that the Battle damaged Arnold sculpt should have grey hair.

Hot Toys looks to be the 'Pops' version of Ahnuld as he appears in this movie's 1984 portion. Neca figure is a different version. Saying more would be spoilerish.

What's weird is the Battle damaged head sculpt that's included is from later in the movie.

Yup, you're right snoop.

I don't get the sunglasses either. Did I miss something? Maybe a deleted scene?

Well it shows.

I regret making fun of "Asian T-1000" a few months back with the Storm Shadow photoshops and jokes. The guy did a good job.

Wow this would be an easy pass for any normal person , but because it's Ahhhnuld. I'm probably going to have to get it even though I'm pretty much done collecting. I agree ,he kinda looks like Tommy Lee Jones

I doubt it. They probably just gave them to him because of the posters.

In the first one we understood the sunglasses were to hide his exposed robot eye. In the second movie they explained the sunglasses when Arnold was driving the police car at night after helping Sarah escape the mental institution. Remember, he turns off all the vehicle lights. John asks " can you even see anything" to which Arnold replies "I see everything" then showing through his vision the "IMAGE ENHANCE" is flashing. Thus I believe it's implied that wearing the sunglasses helps to enhance the Terminator's infrared vision.

Mic dropped........ LOL

Hopefully we gets some Endoskeletons and another t1000 is only thing i'm hoping for from this.

May be interested in this if they add grey to his hair. Be cool to have T1, T2, and this on the shelf.

The twist being given away is the biggest mistake the studio made with this film. Whoever is in charge of marketing for this film should learn a lesson in keeping big plot points under wraps until after the film is out.
This. While I haven't seen the film yet, I was completely floored they pulled that stunt. That concept was supposed to be the "dude, you've gotta go see this, you'll never believe what they did" reveal that was supposed to stay under wraps. Now I don't know, but back when T2 was advertised, wasn't that the big surprise? That Arnold was the good guy that time around? I don't think that was something that was advertised?

Actually the T2 marketing apparently gave that away in the run-up to the film aswell. Although I think some people missed it and were still able to be surprised. I wouldn't know, I was too young and into TMNT at the time, but so I've read.
