The guy had a question... what's to get irked about. :dunno Good post by the way. If you have never had the pleasure of owning a HT ENDO than you are in for a treat when you open the box and take that badboy out. Whether its an original HT ENDO or one of the new T.S. HT Endos they are WELL worth the money. Let us know what you end up getting. Mike

Wow, nam. You were actually nice to this new boardie. Especially considering the topic.:nana: And it seems like you're rubbing off on me. I was a little irked by this thread.:slap

If you read my post and noticed the slap:slap. The slap is intended for me; as in why the ____ am I getting irked; hence the nam influence.

If you want an endo, I'd suggest the T-700 and hold out hope that HT makes a chrome endo in the near future like me. It is essentially the same figure as the T-800 endo but with the obvious different color and weathered surface. I like it a lot, can't say the same for the T-600 though. This would be the cheapest option and I am satisfied with it, especially since the original endo's look pretty plasticy.

Funny, owning both, I think the T-700 looks more plasticy with it's shiny black finish, than the original. :monkey1

I wasn't saying it looked more plasticy just that for the considerable price difference it still isn't a perfect endo and may not be worth the price for him. Sorry for being unclear.

Right on... thought you were acting like one of the snobby types that feels he needs to police peoples threads for whats an appropriate post. We were all noobs at one time. Just giving the new guy some back up. My bad. :hi5:

There's a reason he's so pricey. And if I hadn't gotten him from Sideshow when he was released, I'd easily pay the going rate for him. $400-$450 for the BD version despite it being just a variant, is more than reasonable. All the articulation and working "pistons" on the figure definitely give you your money's worth. Of course, if you're after quantity, or a poor man's T-800 Endo, the T-700 is a fine substitute.

No wonder my ears are burning,
I have to admit it was a bit lazy on my behalf not to search thoroughly and to start a new thread to get an answer to my question, but to be honest I wanted to use the knowledge slash experience of other collectors to get an actual opinion of an owner of such an item,to that I plead guilty, that and being a noob...
Thanks to all for replying, nam and endo for having my back hehe

pretty much everything HT has made from Salvation and T2 is worth owning. their 1st "battle damaged" Arnold T800 and Kyle Reese are kinda crappy. the only one i still own is the T2 Endoskeleton because it's a masterpiece and a marvel of 1:6 scale engineering. and that's probably all i'll want unless HT goes back and blows me away with a real T1 Arnold or Reese.

Great thread. I’ve been thinking about getting a HT T-800 endo for a while now, and all the positive comments have got me stoked. But with the price currently hovering around the $450-$500 mark, I still can’t shake off the feeling that the Sideshow 1:1 bust would be a better buy? Anyone care to comment that have both?

This is a no brainer bro... I have BOTH and IN MY OPINION If you don't have either and have the $500 to spend GET THE SS 1:1 ENDOBUST. It's a 1:1 for pete sake:lol

Thanks Endo-Hunter. I know that is the right decision and I’m sure that’s why I’ve never pulled the trigger. But my 1/6 Terminator collection really ‘needs’ the original Endo. It’s a dilemma, but a nice one to have.

yeah, 1:1 is the way to go if you got the $$ to spend. pretty stupid to pay that for a 1:6 figure.

I know! Especially as I the minute I part with my the cash, HT’s will announce a new chrome effect endo. But as Nam, says, the collector in me would like an original endo.

If you're into busts I suppose getting that 1:1 piece would be more worthwhile with the kind of money we're talking. Wouldn't be my preferance personally as I stick solely to poseable fully-body figures so if I had that dilemma I'd go for the HT figure.

Unless it's to obtain a grail piece that completes a collection. :huh
still don't get how that's not totally stupid, but whatever floats your boat.

i think i'm gonna quit guessing what HT has planned franchise-wise since i was wrong about them not making anymore P2 figures after the elder and that bit me on the ass twice now. the original endo is pretty cool, but it's not like it will go down in price any time soon so you might as well hold out for a better deal or wait for HT to make a better version down the road.
