Believe me when I say that I don't feel bad at all. Again you are entitled to your opinion. All of your flapping still doesn't change my mind about the piece. Enjoy your little 1/6 Arnie and I will enjoy mine. Nuff Said on my part. :pfft:..............:wave

Arnold head is WAY bigger,..if you never saw the life cast people sell,.. then you should get one and put besides this one,..this was a MOLD of a MOLD! the guy that worked on it,..a Stan Winston emploee posted about the process some time ago in another forum,..and how this made the facial features of Arnie not accurate!! And he have lazy eyes! Take a look at your picture! And the lips are too thin also!
About the eyebrows being what it is for a polystone statue, that's BULL! take a look at some 1:1 work out there and you will se eyebrows MUCH better done than that!,,, This is HORRIBLE! The paint, the sculpted hair! The only good thing are the clothes! It looks real! The Hot Toys T-800 have a better likeness AND better sculpted hair! :lol:lol:lol

But hey, don't feel bad that a 12" figure OWNS your 1:1 bust!! it happens a lot these days!! :gah::lol:lol:lol

See, there's a stark contrast between the collector who likes all things and the close-minded elitists who thrive on absolution. The fact that you can't see a 1:6 figure being a grail speaks to your elitism and goes further toward you actually trolling because you're condescendingly posting against everyone who has an opposing view. That bust is awesome. Yes, there are aspects like the hair that aren't done very well (the reason I passed on one for $450 at WonderCon), but it is a fine piece, no doubt. Along the same lines, it's also a static piece. There's something to be said for the craftsmanship that went into HT's 1:6 endo. It also has light-up eyes, but unlike the bust, it's completely poseable, has working "pistons" and even the fingers are articulated. There's a reason it's a grail piece.

I totally understand why people call 1:6 HT Endos grails. I have both the HT versions, and even for a customer from EU I managed to get them with good prices. The details put by HT in these figures are just amazing, to see every piston work and each finger and toe being articulate is just stunning. HT did a great job on these and no doubt if not having these I would have done my best in getting them.

I also have expensive 1:1 collectibles, big statues or rare studio scale and prop replicas, but 1:6 line will always be close to my heart. To pose these beautiful figures anyway you want (in the limit of its body of course) is a really fun task, and finding the best pose is something we all enjoy. The statues and large busts have their own appeal and I also totally understand this because I have too, but I wouldn't say the 1:6 figures are less of a collectible.

Enjoy what you like, this is a cool hobby, and just imagine that there are people who don't understand why you collect "dolls" as well as people who don't understand why you collect big statues, or people who don't get why you are not gathering Star Wars Hasbro figures or others who think coins or stamps are the way. And of course people who think why collecting at all, they consider it a waste of money.
Everyone has to have an outlet, just because my hobby isn't like yours doesn't mean it that it's any less stupid than your hobby.:wave

Think what you want man. I stated my opinion and he stated his. If what I said about the 1/6 fig being little compared to a 1:1 offended you than its you who has issues. My small bit of sarcasm toward the 1/6 Arnold was nothing compared to his COMPLETE BASHING of the 1:1 Arnold. Reread the posts. I was only defending what I believe to be an awesome piece. I collect 1/6 figures too along with 1:1 so my opinion is as valid as anyones. As for me being an elitist not by a long shot and I am by no means a "CARD-CARRYING MEMBER":wink1:

Calling BS. You consistently posted your "whatever man" posts after every post from a freak who stated that a 1:6 can be a grail, so much so, that it was borderline trolling. For the longest time, the grail of my horror collection was finding a decent Jason hood to go with my 1:1 Pt. III hockey mask, but that doesn't mean I'm so blind as to not think that there can't be grails in the Sideshow 1:6 medium. Matter of fact, their 12" Jason X has become one of my new ones. Maybe you should take the blinders off and realize that there's more to life and collecting than you and that 1:1 Terminator bust you seem to have a bromance with.

And FYI, being a member of the Elite™ in this case =/= Elitism. ;)

Yeah there is more to life that's why I don't have 17,000+ posts to my credit. Do you do anything other than hover around threads giving YOUR opinions? I could care less if you consider me a troll... this is a hobby and not my life. As for a 1/6 figure being a grail... "whatever man":lol

Trolling reported! :wave

:lol If its 1/6 figs you are referring to I just don't equate 1/6 figures with grail pieces. Not knocking 1/6 figs but 1:1 scale is just a different level of collecting. My bad if I read your post wrong. Mike

I'm referring dude if it custom for sure :lecture

And I don't like The Sideshow 1:1 deformed Arnold bust.

I can't see why people are knocking the arnold bust??? Please....if I have both the 1:1 Arnold and the HT T-800. If you choose the 1:6 over the 1:1 ....WTF!!!

Who's the ******* that turned down the Arnold 1:1 bust for $450????

This thread gets more entertaining to read by the minute. :lol
In my opinion the 1:1 is a great bust, but I must agree with certain features such as size, hair and eyebrows, and the lack in that department. I'd hate to say it, but this piece looks better with the lights dimmed down in the room, and the light-up feature on the bust turned on. :wink1:

As far as 1/6 scales are concerned, lots of them have much more likeness than any statue or bust I've seen. (Specifically when it has to do with faces.) Hot Toys does an amazing job capturing these details. You would think that the bigger the figure or statue, the better access you have to perfect it, but not so.

On the other hand, I prefer the likeness of my 1:2 scale Endoskeleton over the 1/6 Hot Toys BD any day! :lol

like they say sometimes less is more. buy the t-800 and place it in your room, invite some company over and see if it gets positive feedback.

Calling BS. ;)

Winky smiley's at the end of your post? What are you doing? Trying to soften your comments? Be a man, say what you say and stand by the opinionated, stubborn, non-bending, aggressiveness of it.

Comparing a 1:6 piece to a 1:1 piece makes no sense at all.

Bottom line is you like what you like, you won't change anyone's mind.

I recommend counseling. Bring print outs of all your posts and let the Doctor read them and give you an opinion of your butthole rating. Who knows, your future posts may be tempered and you come off as such a poo bag.

Yeah, I would choose the 1/6. I like to be able to do stuff with my collectibles other than put them on a shelf and dust them every now and again. Not saying busts and things like that aren't cool or that they are an inferior thing to collect but they are relatively speaking 'useless' and I don't think you can argue that.

The collecting hobby for me is kind of a continuation of my childhood fun of playing with toys. Although I don't literally play with my stuff now, as in act out battles etc, I do like to be able to choose poses, switch accessories and change the look. Therefore 1:1 isn't my thing.

That BD Arnold bust is an impressive piece alright but I've always had a problem with that human eye, something just looks 'off' or dead about it. Other than that, its very nice.
