Anyone know where I can pro-order this? I live in the US and I can't find a place to get one of these other than ebay for twice the price.

I don't own any previous HT Iron Man and would like to add this one to my starting collection.

I would suggest you wait for Sideshow to put this up for pre-order. No need to pay crazy money to buy this from eBay.

If you guys have seen the movie, you'll know the MKVI in IM2 is different than the one in avengers. there's one scene when shows the improvements, so i guess HT got it wrong this time

Well HT could release another more general release of Mk. VI (another MMS) which is specific and accurate to the Avengers movie with just some minor mod to the existing mold.

This present Avenger's Mk. VI is a non-MMS numbered (inaccurate) release.... release just to ride the hype of the movie.

But I still bought this! Pre-paid in full so no backing out now for me!!

They didn't get it wrong, they just take the easy way out and rerelease this one to cash in more $

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Mark VI looks bulkier than it did in IM2? Makes Stark (in suit) look shorter than in the previous films. I'm going by the screenshot above, btw. Waiting for the midnight show this week.

It's definitely different than IM2. Maybe that scene was meant to show the armour removed with a full body shot and the proportions had to be changed slightly to better match RDJ.

In that shot, the head looks a bit bigger and the shoulder pads look smaller and lower down.

I think you're right. RDJ isn't a tall man, but how tall is Stark meant to be in these films? I used to believe he's about 6' tall but compared to some shots from the previews he's way short compared to Rogers. Or is Cap meant to be portrayed super tall? Because in that case, Thor must be 7' in the context of these films. Haha!

In any case, Mark VI is my favorite armor. I'm glad to see it back.

Hot toys was just lazy with this release. They wanted to release an IRON MAN when the movie is released and this was their only way to do that. Re-release the iron man 2 mark VI.
