The battle damage on the chest piece is new. Looks the same to me otherwise.

From what I saw at the Singapore's NEX display, the battle damage scratches are different and are in different places. The silver biceps and knees are different (repaint). The red seems a bit darker (could just be my feeling). The base now has "Avengers" on it. The box is different. It comes with a Mark 4 HS and no Battle damage parts. And the first 120 buyers get an Avengers goodie bag from HT consisting of a light up pendant and a booklet.

Did you have the original Mark VI? Looking forward to some actual Freaks in hand thoughts on this, particularly on whether parts of the suit can still be removed even though there's no BD bits to replace them with.

If it turns out the whole suit is moulded as one I'll be picking this up.....

so if 3000 is considered a limited run then whats a full production number

I got it on eBay mate. From tonycheung1965. I tend to get most of my HT stuff from him, he is a good seller and gets stuff out fast. He must live near the HT shop as he gets the figures first.

10000 really maybe they probaby have something like that I think there is a min number they have to hit to recoup there investment.

and its not a coincidence that the gantry will use basicly the same mold and head

I don't know, maybe I'm ironmaned out, but this is a real boring figure. I have'nt followed this tread so forgive me if this is been said before but they give you so much less than the first release and a rehashed head sculpt, there really isn't anything worth getting this for or am I missing something I say this but just picked up the milk war machine

Ahh. So I'm not the only one who noticed that on this or the first release of this one. I was just thinking to myself that the only way I would even half consider getting this would be if the paint apps were corrected and it had the gold around the neck area.

Man, how more more money could HT have made with that slight change?

Well HT could release another more general release of Mk. VI (another MMS) which is specific and accurate to the Avengers movie with just some minor mod to the existing mold.

This present Avenger's Mk. VI is a non-MMS numbered (inaccurate) release.... release just to ride the hype of the movie.

Given the way HT works, and the way market is right now (with Mark V selling for less than retail and stock piling up in warehouses) I doubt they will rerelease Mark VI with minor mods. Unless, like Mk IV+Gantry, they have something like this in mind:

Also, I guess we're talking about the golden parts/paint on the suit on the collar bone area in the movie, right. Wow, I missed that, until now. And there can be so many other improvements too!:
