Sure, if was an unmasked Pattinson head I'd believe it, but for a cowl!? I guess I will never understand how someone can make a Batman cowl and charge more than the figure cost.

They are expensive, whether it's worth it or not is subjective but you have to respect the time, effort and artistic ability the artists put into it. It's just how it is for custom pieces unfortunately, as it's made just for you or for a limited number.

Just bought this today at my local comic book shop. Took a few quick pics. The stock collar isn’t so bad after a little futzing but still ordered an Oaty custom collar this afternoon, so looking forward to receiving that:

Messing around with an app called lens distortions. Literally my first picture, so I just threw some stuff together
I've never edited my pictures like this before (not counting color corrections) so I'm definitely a noob at this, since I prefer not to put a bunch of crap over my picture. But I'll admit it's kinda fun, and I'll be doing more in my free time

This figure looks very freaking good.

I ended up cancelling my InArt order and sticking with this one. I just couldn’t justify spending this much on this Batman, when there’s other figures I want that are possibly going up for preorder soon.

The InArt is definitely more accurate, but I’m perfectly happy with this one. It looks awesome.
