Whoa! I remember when the average price was around $150

Tell me about it. Though not too long ago, I guess those days are gone for good. The last new Hot Toys I bought for $150 each were Snake Eyes and Barney Ross 2.0, which I bought at promo price from the same dealer I mentioned earlier. I also noticed that the dealer no longer announces promo prices after MoS Superman. :(

Still crazy to see this thread for some reason. I love that this came out of nowhere.:clap

Don't worry guys. We'll be seeing a figure from both those licenses in, at most, 5 years from now. Mark my words :lecture

I don't expect to see more than 1 figure per license or anything, but still. I'm betting a Prometheus character in 2015, and Marty in 2017.

The more they (HT) wait, the better those figures are going to look. I'm glad we are getting Eric Draven now and not 4 or 5 years ago. I can wait for BTTF or a new Rambo figure, because I'm sure they will look great.

Thats one thing that bothers me about this hobby is my collection doesnt stay consistent with quality. Of course its not a terrible gap but Id hate to have a Marty that makes the rest of my collection look like old dolls. :lol And I hate having to "upgrade" or double dip.

I didn't know there was a special edition, do you mean an exclusive with something extra from the regular edition or just that the figure itself is a SE?

The weather vane is the exclusive, Sideshow will def. have this

I'll be honest; that looks more like a lighting Rod than a weather vane. Weather vanes usually turn (have some type of fin to caught the wind) and have north, south, east, and west marked on them some where.

Would have liked them to include some standard hands and undamaged shirt.

The hand taping is actually from a scene they never got around to filming. In the comic he spends time slashing his own wrists so deeply it won't heal quickly so he tapes up his arms.

In the movie the taping just appears out of nowhere halfway through and is never referenced.

I wish the exclusive were all the weapons he used to do the revenge killing. Tin Tin's knives, Funboy's needles, and T-Bird's lighter would be awesome

Just some handguns would be better than a weapon he only used for a few seconds before having it knocked from his hands.

True it was not referenced but they did film why he used the tape. The Fun Boy fight was a little longer. After Darla leaves and Eric looks at the syringe Fun Boy attacks Eric with a strait razor, Eric holds up his arms to defend himself as Fund boy slashes at him.

Again, Lee's family only allows the use of his likeness under the condition that no gun accessories are included.
