I would cancel with Animate unless you can't get it anywhere else for a reasonable price (in a reasonable amount of time). He was just too difficult to deal with.

I think that Animate will ship your item. He probably had to close the account because of all the negative feedback he was getting. I ordered through him and it took awhile for me to get my item, but it did arrive.

Perhaps if they done what they were suppose to do, they wouldn't have had bad feedback, and there would be no need to close the account.

Granted it's nobody's fault when it's within the suppliers hands and the sheer demand for these things, but all it takes is decency, honesty and courtesy from the shop to keep the customer up to speed on what is happening. Rather than quite a number do and ignore them.
That's another example I'm currently dealing with from one in the UK, https://www.frontiermodels.co.uk/ that seems to now be non-existent since last Thursday. Another one that takes forever to respond to emails, if at all.

I'm sure most if not all around here or whoever is buying something, courtesy and well spoken representatives goes a long way. The business practice nowadays seems to be a shambles, with too many, it seems to be take your money and run. I'm not saying they all do it, as there is many out there that are superb and a great company/dealers that fulfill and honours their customers but sadly there's too many that are out there that just act all shady as those are the ones you mostly hear about.

I was far from impressed when I first contacted Animate before even thinking of ordering any items. Not impressed how long it took them, almost 2 weeks and when they did get back to me. It felt like some internet 7 - 9 year old was dealing with me.

Look how poor of an email this was for a company. I was not impressed.

I totally agree that he has major problems, but I imagine that you will be able to get the item or the money...to my knowledge he hasnt completely stiffed anyone.

Yep! We not only get our stuff faster but usually cheaper too. No tax + super cheap shipping (most expensive is like US$3). I used to live in the United States and shipping for the usual 12" figure is like $15

you lucky twats.. I pay a $65 shipping when i order from the states, and IF i order off HK sellers on ebay shippings cheaper usually $35- $45... still a fortune spent on shipping.

Living in Australia, the shipping is not cheap here either.

Maybe you should try to become a HT dealer in the UAE I'm sure shipping will be cheaper when you buy in bulk

Yeah, and that being ActionHQ hasn't charged me yet for this one. They charge you a week or so before it's in and processed/dispatched. Just like what happened with The Joker. About a week and 4 - 5 days they took payment before it came in.

Joe's order is likely a mistake. It'll most likely be the "original costume". A lot of retailers in Asia are listing TDK version for late October/Early Nov
