Sculpted looks better imo. I’m gonna pass on this release. I’m happy with my Inart rooted, but this came out good.

this does look great to me. I’m just not into rooted figures so no worries there. I have the inart sculpted and was never really happy with it. Was thinking about grabbing a sculpted hot toys but $370? Wtf? Talk about a cash grab. This is more than the rotj vader which has 3 heads and 2 huge bases. Hot toys will always be hot toys.

Looks better in the videos.
The sculpted in particular is impressing me - first time I feel like there isn't an enormous difference in quality between a rooted product and its sculpted counterpart.

If I had the funds and didn't have other figures as a priority incoming I might cave and get it, as it is, while it is really good I dont see such a "leaps-and-bounds" increase in quality from my sculpted Inart to justify buying two Ledger Jokers in the same costume so close to one another.
Whereas the Inart was an order of magnitude better than my old DX11 and justified the upgrade.
Happy for folks who have him on order.
I think in terms of quality I think the difference between this and Inart is relatively minor, but after looking at the videos I'm leaning oh-so-slightly towards the Hot Toys and if I was without a 1/6 Ledger Joker in my collection and was looking for one thats probably the one I would get.

Yes we have A Amazing joker release. We Also have A Large Group of Amazing Artist that keep pushing this hobby to be better and tweak it even more... Thats why i love this place! Ha. Ha Always critique everything and if didnt we probably wouldnt have a hobby that keeps on evolving from gi joe to amazing buzz light year 1/6 robot. Its beyond crazy how fast moving forward. Thank you Artist who never happy and tear it all apart and keep on making this hobby of 1/6 what it is today.

I have the Topo 2.0 and it’s way too much fabric. The figure is swimming in it. This HT looks much more tailored and slim.

It’s a great sculpt, but the paint lacks detail and imo there’s too much hair. Overall it’s a decent release, but I won’t be keeping my sculpted version.

i'd say they came pretty close for a mass produced figure. And for the price such a package is probably the best out there right now. Hot toys is showing their love for this character and pulled all the tricks out their sleeves to make something unique. I'd say hot toys is shooting fire right now showing what they can that said this will be my first Heath Ledger in the collection
