It's like having a PC and listening to Playstation and Xbox players arguing.Custom bros watching people argue which subpar (Hot Toys / Inart) figure looks better

I think this is what most of the conversation boils down to, and it's where most disagree with you. There’s no reason we don’t have a definitive version yet. I’m talking about details down to the slanted waistcoat pockets, dotted pinstripe pants to scale, two swappable gold and silver pocket chains, accurate coat detailing with proper sleeve cuff buttons just to name a few.
Yes it is diminishing returns, but is this hobby in its entirety not also diminishing returns?
With my custom Ledger Jokers, I don’t have to worry about a company topping those anytime soon. Buying those has saved me $600 USD here by cancelling my Artisan PO which I can then put towards the JND Type A version. I still don’t think the JND version is up to par either, but it includes parts I want to own to make my customs more well rounded.
Keeping strict about what I deem good enough has been the best decision I’ve ever made in the hobby, can’t go back from that mindset. I have a few items I’d like to unload to fund other purchases, that process has not been easy at all.
Do I want to carry around a bunch of figures that are constantly becoming outdated and obsolete quicker and quicker it would seem, not being able to unload them because anyone who might have been interested, isn’t anymore due to everything new releasing. It’s the direction I’ve chosen,
to have far less, but better product. You guys make up for a less than Ledger Joker by acquiring more figures per year.
Now I am really really curious to see your custom Ledger Joker.
I'm glad that I don't care this much about the details of the Ledger Joker. The sculpted hair HT will be my first and only Ledger as it is one of the most iconic super hero performances of all time and despite it being my only DC character, it's worthy of a spot on my shelf. I can respect your need for the details as I've built a few life size Boba Fetts and the importance of those details match your passion for Ledger Joker. They're a bit easier to capture (and spot inaccuracies) at full scale though.I’ve tried to speed up the process but og run organizers don’t want an end all be all Ledger.
With the right tailor, along with the right notes and guide, that suit could be done exceptionally well, never to be topped.

Yeah it’s been my favorite character in cinema since I was a kid, so good. So building these three Ledgers I’m in the works on has been a real cool time.I'm glad that I don't care this much about the details of the Ledger Joker. Just waiting on this sculpt now.
I also dyed the Wonderworld purple coat the other day, has more of a deep plum and wine color now, haven’t taken photos yet.

Yeah I don't doubt that there are improvements possible, some probably very easy or obvious to do. I'm just saying, there is not a definitive version, only your definitive version. You don’t have to have access to screen used materials to land closer than anyone ever has before. Just have to know what you’re talking about, have the proper notes, and go through a number of samples with the right tailor. You’re making it out to be far more complex than it has to be.
Without having that opportunity,
you don’t know what is possible.
They’re my favorites once I implemented the chain swap. Don’t see them leaving the collection. Great color, texture and length on them bro, doesn’t show very well in photos. If you decide to swap the trousers, I'm calling dibs on buying those Yunsils.
I’m using Wonder’s currently, may swap to JND’s, we’ll see. I have Yunsil and Iris as well, currently I’d go Wonder for the grey blazer. The jacket looks gray but somewhat 'silky' (with a soft sheen) -- is that correct?

It depends on lighting, does have a slight reflectiveness to it. Mostly a true grey though.
