In fact, yeah I looked over that post again, there's nothing racist about it. It was just an observation I had about this Jim Gordon and Hot Toys' latest head sculpts in general (whether one agrees or not).

Another figure that has this "look" is the Predators Noland figure. All Hot Toys portraits are starting to look the same to me which is odd considering they're sculpted by different talents.

Whats racist about saying something looks like a particular race?

We all have different racial features, big noses, black hair, small eyes, big eyes whatever...!

If Gordon or whatever HT sculpt is given racially incorrect features to the actor that played him or her, thats just inaccurate.

What's funny about these fools calling "racism" is that they seem to be ignoring the fact that the HT sculpts which are starting to all look asian are based on multiple races themselves. Gordon, Noland..

all that money and you cant read someones comment properly before you respond..I am a huge actor in my country as well (MTV TRL episode 174 (2005) I also recently won an olympic gold medal and I am probably better looking than you as well, as this is just the way the world works.

Go back and read fab's comment again if it still seems racist then simple leave the thread....

I am half Asian, and better looking than most Asian's because of get the best of both worlds and stray away from androgyny.

Wait I'm sorry what the hell is going on in this thread?

I may cancel my PO and wait for a regular Gordon with a Bat Symbol (pipe dream like the rest of us) but I feel that would be more bang for your buck.

Also upon re-reading his previous statement, why does being an Asian actor and making 10 times what we as a board collective make have anything to do with arguing if head sculpts look Asian? Hell even Tony Stark still looks Asian.

I don't want to come down on either side of the "looks asian" arguement, but i think it's better to say that the new Tony headsculpt's eyes are too narrow to look like Downey.
The head shape is distinctly NOT asian looking. It's the eyes that are too narrow.
I think it would be less derogatory to say which feature is wrong than to say "Tony looks asian..."
Because he doesn't look the slightest bit asian. The eyes are too wide and too pinched to be accurate, that's all.

Well it's good to know I'm not alone with my thinking that recent Hot Toys head sculpts look too Asian.




Meant nothing racist by it, though the whole "I guess it's true, God created man in his own image and so did Hot Toys" comment was a little much.

I thought it was lolz though, because it's true.

Redheaded women often have an irish/welsch look to them actually.

And yes you can tell when someone is Irish. Well, maybe not anymore since every one in Europe is mingling and getting along, but before that, you could clearly see difference in for example a guy from Norway and a dude from Ireland.

It's like saying Turks and Egyptians look exactly the same. They do to the untrained eye (i.e. MINE) but people cán tell em apart.

Chinese and Japanese also look the same to me, cause I don't really care I guess.
