I assume, as the in-movie reason, he zips up the jacket to hide the stomach wound. That leaves only his upper chest wound still visible.

It may look that way but I can assure you, his jacket is not zipped up. Its a pretty tight fitting jacket maybe tailor made for Arnie? So even unzipped it hugs his body pretty good. It would mess with continuity too if he had a zipped up jacket one minute then he gets in his car smashes down the cop counter then gets out of his car, jacket unzipped. Just would not make sense.
You haven't seen too many movies then. Continuity is often amusing with cups switching hands, etc .. and a zipped up or non-zipped up jacket is the least of things people notice.That said, I think you're right about the jacket being open in your sig. This is true, I have seen the whole of T1 at least twice and a trailer for something called Terminator 2? Apart from that I detest and loathe motion pictures.
Give me a good porno mag and a jar of hand cream over a movie any day.

Little known fact, this was the terminators "going out" jacket. He kept it safe in his room when not out terminatin'.
He always wore it zipped up to impress the ladies.
It was only after that nasty fire and car wreck that he resorted to using it as a work jacket.

Have to say, issues aside, this looks more Terminator-y than the rest of the HT figures when displayed properly. He's very nice with the shades on.
