To be fair, the figure doesn't look quite right straight out of the box. Mods here and there definitely improve the likeness.

I disagree, I think the body size for an Arnie figure is anything but a 'minor detail' but that's beside the point. The point is, the likes of Silentsurfer there just got the figure and that's why he's talking about it. And I bet in the Robocop thread they're still talking about the colour/paint.

Speaking of waiting, I tried to do Live chat, waited about 15 minutes and gave up, decided to call SS to simply add pack-outs to my orders, that took about 20 minutes on hold to get someone

All an all I finally got it done today, though I have tried to call a few times last week with no luck on ether live chat or on the phone, man they need more help over there

Why not just swap the Tech Noir body for the BD body -- small head on small body, big head on big body. Done.

I don't think its that easy, I believe you end up with giraffe neck syndrome because of where the neck plug sits on the newer heads.

For you maybe.
A body that is not in sync with the Head is a big fuss for me.
Most of the people not annoyed by this dont own the MOS figures, wich have Heads as big as the mms238 but with bigger proportionned bodies. I do and the mms238 has been sold with the wrong body.
Now if that is not a problem for you its just great, Enjoy your out of the box unmodded figure and Please do respect others opinions.

Not only this but the mms136 body is really not THAT bigger.
If you re not planning on swapping the mms238 body for a MOS Supes or Zod just mod the mm238 Neck.
Thats the Best and cheapest improvement you can do, No point in swapping with mms136 or ttm20.
Mms238 Heads are simply too big for these bodies.

Even if they did bulk up the body you'd all have a cry about it been out of scale with the Tech Noir, if they did put it on the MOS body he'd be bigger than the DX13, then it'd be worse.

So the Battle-damaged head is too big for the Tech Noir body?

None of the terminators Head are in sync with the next.
But at least they worked until the dx13 with the ttm20 like bodies.
So they all kinda all look ok when together.
But damn the mms238 looks ridiculous to me right of the box.
I personaly dont really care for continuity, i take each figures individually.
But yep you are right some might have been pissed about a really proportionned body.
Im happy i have the option to fix what i see like an obvious mistake.
And Will gladely share the infos with those who do too

Tried the mms238 semi bd on mms117(as big as the mms136).
Widening the Neck Will help, just like widening the mms238 but still too big... At least to me
