You'd think the clu would be a no brainer. How hard could it be to change the color on the cycle? And that's an expensive piece.

CLU's light cycle is fairly different to Sam's...
It has "airfoils" and different brake flaps, it also covers CLU's legs and torso...
not the best comparison pics but you can see some of those differences here:

Yeah, I think Clu, Rinzler, Sam and the Black Guards all have unique Light Cycles. Pretty cool. I hope we get to see some more of the variants.

CLU's lightcycle has to be in the pipeline for HT. I can't imagine both being in R&D at the same time. Especially considering display options as HT usually does.

I'm unfortunately officially done collecting 1/6 figs, but I would definitely make an exception for Quorra. I'm also surprised HT hasn't made Clu either.

You know Quorra is on her way... it's just a matter of waiting for the official press release from Hot Toys. They won't miss out on the sales of a hot female figure in a skin-tight outfit, that everyone is drooling over to have.

And I would assume that Clu and Rinzler are on their way... especially, with Tron3 in the pipeline. My only fear is that once Tron3 is out, I will have to repurchase all the figures again because you know Hot Toys will make various improvements to articulation, likeness, etc, etc.

Budgetting... sucks...

One would hope those 3 will be announced. I'd love a Black Guard as well. If 3 goes forward, you can still look forward to Cillian Murphy's character's grid Counterpart.

And his fathers judging by the teaser apparently on the BLuray, both Dillenger Jr and senior are to be in number 3. No guarantee that the third movie is going ahead yet though, the Tron3 trailer was made before legacy was released.

The only problem I see with HT doing a Clu, Quorra, Sam, or Rinzler is that the bodies could be made from the same stuff as they made the Dark Knight figures. I'm personally not a big fan of the rubber, seems like there are too many problems associated with it.

Lol I just want a decent Sam Flynn figure I think the cycle is cool but without the ability to pose the figure it makes this piece very much like a statue and less like a ht product. Second from the videos posted on you tube of the cycle it looks more like to me an oversized black tron cycle for 300.00 I'll pass

Agree rubber = breakage I learned this the hard way when my Dutch figures arm broke right open

Again if its a figure that could stand it would not be able to sit properly in the cycle. $300 for the cycle is a tad more than the batpod but the inclusion of a figure that can fit properly for just $50 more seems quite reasonable. If you think about that you simply have not tried fitting any HTs onto a bike before. Even T-800 has trouble fitting straight into a Fatboy properly and certainly will not survive the test of time

Thanks for posting these. Am sorry to see there's no hood on the black robe. Really liked that "hood-up" look he sports with his entrance to the End of Line Club.
Wonder if there is a chance HT could re-visit this and change it or if production's too far along already?

Is the center ring of flynns white disc really blue? Interesting

Can someone translate? It mentions specfically 1/6 Sam Flynn and Clu 2.0 other than the lightcycle but I'd be interested to see what it say specifically about them.
