When Hot Toys announced the RE5 line earlier collectors speculated that we would get more than Chris and Sheva. Wesker was also a strong possibility with him being the main antagonist throughout the RE series. The question was would another RE veteran, Jill, get made? heres what im thinking is going down with all the license bit. the likeness of Jill is based on a real person i forget her name but its this woman.

so her likeness is licensed for that game. since no one else in the series *besides sheva who is only attached to RE5* is really based on real life models the model they used in RE5 is the same exact likeness to jill in RE1 only in higher res, whereas chris and wesker dont look almost exactly the same as their past counterparts and may not even be based on real peoples likeness.

all i know is licensing is complicated way beyond my knowledge. but i was just throwin something out there

Rebecca Chambers is also modeled after an actress -> Ayumi Hamasaki

How many waves does HT usually release of their figures? I wan't this figure so freakin' bad but according to Toys2 this will be released in Augest and I really don't expect to have the mony to afford it till late Sept at the earliest and I know these are gonna sell out fast.

They're not going to sell out like that, they should be fairly easy to get for at least a year after they come out. I would wait until Sideshow puts them up for order, plus they have a waitlist system so if it sells out you can get on that.

Honestly I don't know how the flexpay thing works, I always pay for it all at once

then again I haven't bought anything all that expensive (yet, looking at you Serentiy)
