I've been meaning to ask, how do the PAK stands compare to the ones from Hot Toys? My Rising Raiden figure from BBTS is still sealed in the packaging, so I haven't had a chance to examine the stand as yet.

They're TERRIBLE and virtually impracticable. Nuff' said.

Wow, really? I liked how they looked translucent from the promo pics. But, it's a shame that they're not up to quality.

I tend to stay away from stands, because most figures are quite capable of balancing themselves. But, Solidus definitely needs one.

Well, my buddies and I all have bad experience with them. They're flimsy and break easily. I have no idea who came up with the designs either. I'm never gonna bother with those stands again.

Wait till the other regulars come in to know what they think. Maybe it's just me.

all mine are still sealed in their card backing, didnt wanna destroy part of the boxes to remove them. the pak ones are junk, i have a couple from buying older paks in the past that ive bought on ebay. thanks for the nice comment too kiva!

Btw Jason, your display is awesome despite your recent downsizing.

I'll take your word for it . I remember how PAK hyped the stands so much last year, in various ads. Such a bummer.

Yeah the stands keep on getting loose from time to time so you shouldnt throw away that plastic tool thingy it comes with hahaha

I use HT stands for all my figures. Not only because the PAK stands are garbage but i hate having lots of different types of stands on display, i like the uniformed look.

I used to never use stands as i thought it looked way better but after shelling out and actually buying stands and getting the base decals i would never not use stands again.

It can just get expensive only buying HT stands and then the decals on top.

Its the only way to go ive found. Gotta get back on finishing my pak ones. I need some for the peacewalker and gz paks.

They're TERRIBLE and virtually impracticable. Nuff' said.

That and you might even break them accidentally upon assembly due to the stupid procedure. I've broken two so far during assembly alone, and maybe a third that was so flimsy it couldn't support a smaller PAK (Isaac Clarke) I honestly only use them for the figures that need them, namely all my MGS ones and ACII Ezio and cause I don't feel like buying extra stands.
