You'd be eating your words if this actually came out to a well articulated figure. Release is a long ways off anyways.

It's has articulation
In the arms and legs so it's far from a statue

The only place it looks like it may not have as much articulation is the arms, if they are truly rubber like the new Thors.

Still, no less posable than a normal HT without double jointed elbows. I'm fine with that.

If they made it mental posable people would just complain about the articulation points

Yes, I really hope I'm mistaken because despite the "lack of articulation" (if that's the case anyways) it still looks amazing.

Anyhow, It's weird that all other figs are in some kind of pose while Raiden is just standing there looking into the distance.

Even IF the arms were rubber it wouldn't be hard to pose the guy. He does deep stances in the game and that just might be what I'd do. So many cool ones I could think of.

They should have given it a cooler pose. it the rubber wont tear in a couple of days anyway ( if thats what they are afraid of)
