It "could" be a great figure, I just don't what is going on in their minds when they're designing these things. Stupid rubber arms, when the design could easily hide the joints... and that pathetically sized sword, it's like a toothpick.

this figure looks good in sections but seen as a whole piece there's something off about the proportion. I guess we won't truly know until the in-hand blog photos pop up because so far from what we've seen of this thing the posing has been crap. Wish they would just make the MGS4 raiden already which we all know is a superior design

I think thats more due to the hair. The proportions look fine to me. Anything wrong with this figure is very small.This is the best Metal Gear figure yet imo, next to Rex

I will be disappointed if the arms are rubber. Mostly as there's just no need for it. I get wanting to hide the joints on fleshy characters with bare arms like hulk but not on cyborg body

Exactly.
I'd rather they make it with big visible joints rather than worrying about cracking. At the very least, I hope the way I see the knee joints would help range of motion.

The biggest range of motion I'd like to have are around the hips and thighs. Deep stances make this guy look cool.

Yeah it's ridiculous. They literally could have just designed his arms the same way as his knees. I don't get why that wasn't simple enough for them to grasp.

My only hope is that it's closer to the HT Batmen since I haven't heard much cracking from their recent figures (so far).

The DX09 Keaton Bats has an excellent track record, I don't get why people are making such a fuss on the Arkham boards.

I don't get it either, I never understood why people want to put Batman in extravagant posing. Yeah they're all rubber, but I got no problem leaving my DX09 in a static pose forever.

But with Raiden, it's definitely a figure that doesn't need rubber and should have a neat pose to go with it.

Is the Keaton batman a different material, It looks like a more sturdy rubber. While Arkham batman looks like the flimsy rubber that will tear eventually.
I'm fine not posing Raiden since he looks so cool in a neutral pose anyway, but I agree they should have used that double joint like the knee, we'll see in.a few months what they decided

I compelty disagree, Rising Raidens design is much cooler than MGS4. But I guess it's taste. I hope we do get mGS4 Raiden too that way we get OldSnake!

And lack of seeing/playing the source material. It's so stupid, and I hate how people say, with a straight face 'Yes I didn't play the game, and I don't care, this looks bad' and expect so much. I don't even get why they're still buying it then.

I still want a DX09 myself, I'm only getting the DX15 if I can't find it otherwise though the DX15 looks great so far
