Whoever HT has sculpting for them these days is the fricking Michelangelo of 1/6 scale.

A crying shame this'll never see the light of day.

Their sculptor on this project and POTC, Rambo etc is a lady by the name of Yulli, you'll find a link about 8 replies down to her blog and a pic of her (she's cute too!).

The texture makes the skin come alive. I definitely prefer it over the perfectly smooth skin on Sideshow figures.

Definitely, the texturing hot toys treats their figures to has added realism to their figures. I wish all companies would follow suit.
