This blows chunks. Future Wolverine is my favorite movie look so far and there will probably never be any figures for him or a Fass Magneto. I like the new costume look as Mags but noooooooo Marvel and Fox can't play nice... I hate corporate BS.

Is there a Fassbender figure from any film he has ever done? Starting to wonder if it's the actor(s) holding things up...

Not that I'm aware of, but he hasn't starred in many other films that scream for toys to be made.

I think Fassbender is fine with it and it's really more to do with the studio BS between Fox and Marvel. He's had two Minimates from First Class plus DOFP soon, and though that isn't saying much, his likeness has been used for David in NECA's Prometheus line (which incidentally enough, people have been using to customize their own Magneto figure).

Minimates are actually an exception, in that likeness rights don't apply. They've done official Clint Eastwood figures, which I'm not sure anyone else has done. But the NECA figure does prove he has allowed his likeness to be used.

Only need one figure from this film.. Mystique!.. kicking a**, since the 70s

Pretty interesting... https://news.toyark.com/2014/06/04/ny-post-claims-movie-toys-selling-126149

If there were DOFP toys on the shelves well they would likely be selling better than those above as the market isn't saturated with them already.

Now this above doesn't really apply to Hot Toys but this excerpt does

That’s because young boys’ toy boxes are already brimming with gear from a host of previous movies filled with the same superheroes, he says.

“You’ve got all these action figures chasing mind-share, and they’ve all got the same backstory and the same characters,” Johnson told The Post. “Every kid already has Spider-Man and Captain America.”

Just replace Toy Box with "shelf" and young boy/Kid with "collector"

It's debatable whether X-Men figures would sell more than what's currently out there in the retail stores, but as far as that applying to Hot Toys and collectors....Iron Man alone proves that it doesn't, but the rest of the MCU stuff does, too (and Batman). If HT didn't see any profit in releasing multiple versions of these characters from movie to movie they wouldn't keep making them.

And while they didn't release XFC Xavier, they did make a 3rd Wolverine after. So he's another character they've released multiple versions of and I would think they felt it worth doing.
