He looks awesome. Glad to see he comes already put together as that seems to have been an issue with past ones. Got this coming from BBTS so hopefully the wait isn't too long.

The clear exterior packaging is great, and he comes already assembled!! The BD helmet looks awesome too!

The next page with the figure out of the box makes me drool already! This is a top 10 figure, one of the best from HT. Fantastic!! :rock

I am so very glad I ordered this. I sold all of my Aliens & Predator Kenner toys a while back. I just wanted one good Alien & Predator...and this is one of them. Now all I have to do is make a decision on what Alien to get.

crap, this is too awesome. its 220 on ebay in hand. man thats pricey. is there anywhere i can get this a bit cheaper without having to wait like a month to get it?

Yikes. $220 (before shipping)? Good luck. Evilbay is probably the quickest route at this point. However, you find a cheap version without the wait let the rest of us know :naughty

Any word if SS will get Predator as quickly as they did Dutch or Billy?

So happy to see that not only did one of my most desired 1/6 figures tunr out as well as I could hope, but to not have to deal with putting it together and being able to just pop him out of the box as soon as I get him and enjoy him is very exciting. The head even seens to have been improved. I am so excited, screw Dutch, I want THIS now!

I am a virgin to owning a Predator. What do you mean fray out and how do you avoid it?

No need to worry about it since after looking at these new pics, this predator is perfect.

in the past, some of the predators had dreads that fell perfectly (elder predator 2, wolf predator), but some fell a little too horizontally (lost predator)

Okay, I'll be the one to point out the bad.

Armor is overly battered; it should have been smoother and slightly camoflage, but I figured it would be the same as the Elder armor. I was right.

The laser sight and other connection are too big and are crowding the lenses.

It looks like the gauntlets might be one piece with the forearm this time. If so, LAME!

The head paint job and sculpted quills suck ass.

Other than that, I love it, and I am definitely getting it. I'm not sure how I feel about not having to put it together though...

On the very plus side, it looks like converting the SS exclusive helmet to have lights is going to be easy.

This is also a good change.

What's lame about that, they did it with Wolf and I think it leads to more accurrately proportioned looking Predators if you take away the armor over a figure arm looks. The P2 Predator looks overly bulky because of wearing armor over a figure. I'm all for better proportions, whatever process leads to that.

Agreed, the P2 is way too bulky, and another contributing factor to that is the body it uses. It should be using this P1 body instead of the AVP version, but it didn't exist yet.

I hate the Wolf gauntlets being sculpted because it limits the pose range of the hand. If you pose the hand with knuckles up, the guantlet blades are sticking out sideways and it looks wrong. The gauntlets need to rotate with the hands the way a real forearm does. A real hand does not rotate independantly of the bones in the forearm which would in turn control the rotation of the gauntlet. It's realism of the pose that's lost that bugs me.

That said, sculpted gauntlets are actually more accurate from the point of view of the original costume which had the armor fully sculpted to the body as one piece. What would have been good on the figure though is for the elbow joint to plug into the gauntlet from the back to allow the gauntlet to fully rotate with the hand.

What really irritates me if they are sculpted is that the Elder's weren't, and they changed it for no reason.

From were do you know that the gauntlet is sculpted together with the forearm?

No one knows, but it's pretty much a strong guess, looking at these images, the ball joint for the wrist is plugged right into the guantlet and at the elbow area, the gauntlet is too barely raised from the arm to be wrapped around it, which is why they do the sculpted together design, it allows the armor to look like it's fitting on the Predator more realistically like the film rather than looking like a figure with bits of armor thrown over it which can look to bulky.
