HT 14" Predator full spec and hi-res pics

Wish I knew what Sideshow's prices were going to be; I imagine Toys2 stock will run dry before Sideshow even has them up for pre-order. If I order them both together it looks like shipping will be $35 combined from Toys2. I suppose if Sideshow matches them on price, and charges $8 a piece to ship them, that's only $10 more per figure to order from Toys2 and get them sooner. Just thinking out loud here

Well I live in Canada so I have to pay tax on the sale, together with shipping I paid $32 for both pieces. So as long as customs doesn't frig you over you will be fine.

See, there's that too. I've ordered directly from Hong Kong with great success two or three times now, but if I wait to order from Sideshow I won't have to sleep in fear wondering if my $350 worth of merchandise is going to get lost or seized. Decisions, decisions...

I'd say your safe with the Canada to US shipping...I have never had problems, or heard of problems.

I presume you guys are bundling your orders, so you'll save on shipping but won't get Dutch or Billy until the Predator is released (presuming he's last)?

True. Other than the occational "where the hell is my ^^^^" case everything usually always arrives.

I now have all three figs on order through Toys2. Everyone needs to remember that Toys2 will get these sooner than any NA retailer, so if time is money, the extra for shipping is worth it. I guarantee that SS wont get these for at least a month after the Toys2 customers have these in hand. If youre like me, you will want these asap, and seeing other members with them will make me impatient.

That said, I will not be ordering another HT fig through SS...they take WAAAAY too long to get things in, and in the case of the Lost Pred, I have almost lost interest due to this fact.

That's why I preordered through Toys2, ya shipping is steep, but the Predator is one of my most desired figures for a long time now, patience is thin with him, I want one as soon as I can possible have it finally in hand, but that's why only the Predator is through Toys2. My second Predator and Dutch will go through Sideshow. Thing I love too is because of my proximity to them, takes about 3-4 days to get to me instead of a week.

Are you inquring about a specifi dealer or shipping date?

Plenty of dealers are already selling it and the anticipated releases are April for Dutch and Billy and May for the Predator.

I'M IN NO RUSH TO ORDER THIS.

Why?

1) I am waiting to see what the SSC price point is. And the affiliate dealers who receive theirs from SSC. And I also encourage anyone who does order from SSC to use the link provided here on the Board as it benefits the Freaks Board.

2) There will be at least 3 waves of this piece


3) I may want to wait for for Wave 2 (just in case there are any problems with the Wave 1 piece) HT always makes improvements to later Gen figs.

I will def order Dutch as soon as SSC posts it up and will prolly get it from Adam at DSC.

Having said that, I think this piece is about as great as I expected.

BR Joker is on wave 3 already.

What I meant by three waves is the intital short Wave 1 for HK Club, etc. (initial release to T2 and Asian Dealers)

Then the larger Wave that follows.

And then there will be an additional large Wave.

That is 3 Waves.

Even the Aliens Marines had 2 large Waves.
