Re: HT Batman Begins - Batman/Wayne TF Ex. SSC PREORDERS in AUGUST

Haha - fair enough if you prefer neckless but curious as to why? Articulation?

For me I much prefer the seamless look a sculpt with neck gives

Not really sure why actually. I just don't like the way a a sculpt with a neck looks. My T2 Arnold, Dastan, Wolverine, Jack Sparrow and Superman figures all have neckless sculpts and I think they look great like that. I prefer to hav a rubber neck with the body so there's no possible way for a joint to be shown between the bottom of the neck and start of the collar area. That buggs me like crazy

Then buy statues. :moon

The articulated neck is something that should be adopted on all figures to give them more movement/poseability. What good is a bale-headed Batman if he can't look up without looking like his cervical vertebra have been fused?

Re: HT Batman Begins - Batman/Wayne TF Ex. SSC PREORDERS in AUGUST

I'm with Void. I've always preferred the neck posts as part of the head sculpt.

I've gotten used to the neck less, ball jointed heads with TDK Batman, the Arnolds and other figures that utilize them, but they always seem too small, squashed and pin headed. I also could do without the seam.

Yeah, I'm partial to neck posts.

Anyone know if we will get this in the uk?

Re: HT Batman Begins - Batman/Wayne TF Ex. SSC PREORDERS in AUGUST

Has anybody found out how much people paid for this at Ani-Con?

Re: HT Batman Begins - Batman/Wayne TF Ex. SSC PREORDERS in AUGUST

Superman and Bruce Lee look fine. :dunno

Only because it would looking ____ing ridiculous if they had neck posts going into their shoulders/torso. :lol

The separate head is ideal for them, no argument there.

They have a neck area and a body to show off, this Bruce Wayne doesn't. I say if the character or figure you're making has a shirt or a collar that hides the connector, then a sculpted neck post is the way to go.

So how quick is this expected to sell out? I work every Thursday night and wont be able to sit by the computer to pre order this. Am I more than likely not gonna get it? I havent ever pre ordered any of these con exclusives so I have no idea how quick they sell out :(

It depends. Should be very popular, but word on the street is that many will be produced. Best to get your order in as soon as possible, just to be on the safe side. Conceivably, these could sell out in a minute or less. But I doubt it.

If you work at night, you should be fine. The newsletter usually goes up in the afternoon.

Well - I can start to see the beginnings of a reasonable argument for the neckless head.... nah... it'd have been better with the neck :nana::wave

Hells yeah! Not the nicest guy, but I don't think there's any team in the League that wouldn't want him rushing the passer :yess:

I'm a huge Steelers fan, Sprig. Been behind enemy lines up here in Boston for about six years now. Actually have written about it for the Post-Gazette. I heard Harrison made an apology to the commish today for what he plans to do to him if he ever sees him again in the future. I love this Onion photo:

For characters with clothing (I.E Joker, Aldo Raine), I think a neck is preferable, but for a head like this, I can deal with neckless. My main complaint about neckless heads is that they still have that trim under the back hairline. It totally ruins the aesthetic, and it makes it appear more toy like. If they'd only have the hair and face, it'd be fine, but it seems like they're too lazy to trim off that little plastic extra.

Charles Hughey, eh... what on earth... why?
