Hot Toys' Bruce Wayne and Shadow Predator 12-inch Figures will be coming to the Sideshow site during our 2011 Spooktacular Event (October 24th - 31st, 2011)!
Seems like a long time from now!
Hopefully we will get more updates on other items on display at SDCC!

I'm all for the later date. As spindrift said, it gives them time to produce these things...if they decided to make more for a higher demand. That demand is definitely there.

That is what my post earlier was referring to, but it came out goofy since I posted that Spooktacular was next month. I was told yesterday from a retailer that Sideshow is delaying the preorder on both the Predator and the Batman Begins Bruce Wayne until October so that they know the quantity that they are getting to avoid another preorder fiasco.

This seems reasonable, since this is a HT product and SSC is only the distributor for this figure. HT is calling the shots and not SS and so they are probably seeing the demand for this figure and re-assessing the situation to make it more profitable for them and to give more opportunity for collectors.

Makes sense to me.
