In hand pics of the Bale sculpt don't look anywhere near as nice as the initial shots, IMO... Anyone else getting that vibe?

I think they look pretty close. The problem with the promo shots is that we only get it from one angle, and in that lighting it isn't really enough to tell us if the sculpt was tweaked a bit or not.

I'd like to think my buddy and I came up with that, we were talking about movies that have yet to come out and how we are protective of certain films. We were laughing our asses off, I doubt I am the first one to come up with this but I am also ok with taking credit. So yeah, pre-emptive defense. And I photochopped that picture at work today. Bored. You're welcome forum/internet, his faces is just priceless like a toddler who is very upset.

I agree, he looks like a gaunt rat or something now and that flat part to the back of his head is just bad. I'm thinking it's just the pics though (and they're good pics) and it'll be better in person. I've had this experience with many Hot Toys figures now. Harvey Dent and Cop Joker looked terrible in in hand pics, but once I got them, I loved them.

Honestly though, if I can't get multiples of this one, I'll probably keep it as Batman, even though I already have an OC. I think the only time I'll have him as "first night out" is when I first take it out of the box and futz with it before changing it to Batman. The head just doesn't look right on that body and the balaclava is crap.

If I manage to get 2-3 of this though, WATCH OUT!
