Then why did Yulli change her Methods then? It may not be wrong but it is harder to do.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I'm actually using standard true type upper arms (bicep and tricep) parts on the advanced TT which was the other suggested option.

I wonder if Kato had to make the shirt bigger this time in that area or if Hot Toys is making a special body for this one (standard/advanced combo).

So you did not do any sanding at all? I can not get mine to look like yours. Mine looks too big with the coat on, so I have just left it in the interrogation scene for now.

Just can also just take off the whole arms from a narrow TT by unscrewing them from the back shoulder and transferring them to an advanced TT body.

Here are my thoughts on the headsculpt.


UNDERWHELMED. It's a nice headsculpt but I don't feel like this is some big leap in advancements considering this is their 5th go at a TDK Joker portrait. It looks like they merged the slicked back hair Bank Robber Joker head with the DX 01. I mean, it looks like we could have gotten this in 2009 really.

I mean again, it's by no means a bad sculpt but I don't think this is a significant upgrade that's on par with the improved clothing. No smile? Another "serious" expression? Still the dark green, moss colored hair? The big puppy eyed PERS (unlike the smaller eyed Jack Sparrow and Keaton Batman)? I don't know, I just expected more. Even the clown paint make up isn't that different from the DX 01.

I was not expecting much since all there previous releases were fails. So the fact that there is some likeness is good enough for me.

Eyes, nose, hair & jaw all wrong!

Yeah I also agree but it is the best they could do.

Not to derail the thread further but having tried both methods, the sanding method gives it a better fit and better look in my eyes

I'm a huge fan of HT, and I think the new sculpt by Hot Toys is great (as far as they show in the teaser).

But I still think that this sculpt is way better

And not matter what and as a fan of HT, I'll buy this figure for sure

Oh I thought you left the the body the same and did not transfer the arms at all from the narrow TT body.

But I still think that this sculpt is way better

And not matter what and as a fan of HT, I'll buy this figure for sure

We all want Adam's sculpt but most of us can not get that, so we really do not see much point talking about it.

Not to derail the thread further but having tried both methods, the sanding method gives it a better fit and better look in my eyes

Only problem is when displaying him without his coat or Jacket the sleeves on the shirt are not a tight fit if you sand the arms or swap them. So his shirt looks too big for him in the interrogation scene clothes.

So I leave his arms the way the are for now until I get a better head sculpt for mob joker scene.
