The only way to please everyone is for them to scrap the 2.0 now, aquire Ledgers DNA, clone him, dress him up like Joker, kill him, embalm him, shrink him and charge $150 for the product and call it a DX 2.5

Well, they seem to have been listening lately, with Superman and Thor, so, if the sculpt isn't that great, who knows? I'm on the fence, personally. I'll wait to see specs and pics until I pass final judgement, but thus far, the biggest thing I dislike about the sculpt is that it's by Yulli. Nothing against Yulli, but we've seen her interpretation of The Joker 5 times already, and I'd have liked to have seen one of the other talented sculptors that HT has at their disposal get their shot at the character.

Yes it's stupid just because by the way you posted it in your post, I did not say which way is better.
It's just your stupid ass elitist comment that suggested (to me) that Adam's method of sculpting is better than a scuplters sculpting Joker straight off....

Some say Adams is better but what's the point in discussion when 99% of collectors can't buy it, well because of Teddy owing one before, he had to chime in with his elitist statement!

I could not agree more, why did they not give the job to Kojun, hot toys promotes Yulli as the best sculptor but she is not IMO. So many fails with the Ledger Joker.
I am not sure if she has failed at anything else. Has Kojun failed yet?
Fault Yulli for this if you will, but she's proven to be the most consistently great sculptor at Hot Toys. I would pick her everytime if I had a choice to do a character I cared for.
And as for her Jokers, well, the most recent was, what, 3-4 years ago? Plus, it had the PERS gimmick screwing up the likeness worse than it would look without it. She did the Cop joker very well IMO.

I wish the person who did Loki had sculpted this.
Who sculpted Loki?
I think he did Prince of Persia. And folks should recall that at the time it was released, the BR Joker sculpt was a revelation, and actually seems to have been a huge game changer in the 1/6 scale industry, pushing HT and others to do more detailed and accurate head sculpts because it was so much more awesome than the status quo to that point.

I'm not faulting her with anything, as I said, I'll wait for Specs and Pics (so far, though, I kind of like it; can definitely see Ledger), but the fact still remains that HT has some equally talented sculptors on their team, and I'd like to have seen HT give someone other than Yulli give it a shot.

Cop Joker was passable, not good. I do not want to fault Yulli but when it comes to failing 4 times at sculpting this Joker I think enough is enough.
A good sculptor can not always sculpt everyone, I love her 89 Joker but she can not sculpt the Ledger Joker, so that is a miss for her. Just like her terrible Bruce Lee sculpts, another miss.
Just like Arnie Kim can sculpt Bruce Lee and Christopher Reeve, but can not sculpt Harrison Ford.
We can not expect one sculptor to do everything.
If there's a second sculpt we should be seeing it soon with all the negative responses.

Well, though you may personally dislike her sculpts, the previous Joker sculpts were successes from a sales standpoint, and the consensus on the boards was that the likenesses were quite good. Same goes for her Bruce Lees, which are largely seen as successful sculpts by collectors. I'm not sure there was any strong reason for HT to try and switch things up considering that. And as far as we know, there may have been 3 or 4 different sculptors working on this, with Yulli's winning out. In any case, as Batman says, we still don't even know how good or bad this sculpt will look from different angles.
