Are you kidding?
It was a legit question and someone answered already with one example. That alone doesn't set a trend, but they get points for giving a serious answer whereas you can go to timeout for your sass.

What? What sass? Cool your jets, dude. I wasn't sure you were serious.
Two people actually answered with two examples. There was the Jack Sparrow/Angelica incident (which was really blatant with the whole 'chalice' thing) and there was the Terminator... and a third I believe was the Bruce Lee. There's definitely some bad blood between the two camps for whatever reason.
Ah, I just assumed EB went first with those.Except that HT didn't start it in the case of the Terminator. HT shows DX 10, EB teases BD 1/4 T2 T-800, HT teases BD Police T1 T-800, EB teases T-800 Endo, to which HT responds with their T-800 Endo. Both parties play an equal part in it, it's not just HT.
While that may be true to some extent, a company doing high end 1/6 work isn't as blatant an attempt to copy someone IMO as is competing on a specific license, character, or new approach as what we've seen with these other instances. I personally don't really care. Like you guys are saying, competition should make companies do their best work, which we can only benefit from.I may not be too familiar with the history, but I think it probably started with HT makes high end 1/6 figures, EB copies.
Looks like that is one area that is off limits for competition. Yay for us.Yep, I have no problems with that. Now if they will compete for lowest prices...
I would say more stops and starts, with no real noticeable trend in improvement beyond DX-01's fragility. Sparrow is pretty good, Indiana Jones's likeness is horrible, Joker and Batman are good, Luke is bad. . .But for the most part, HT has been steadily improving

QC seems to be suffering now that HT is making much larger edition sizes then it used to. More chances for things to go wrong. Nicholson Joker seems to be a real victim of this.
Wow, more news that passed me by. Finally got mine yesterday and didn't even pull him out of the box yet. Can you point me toward where to read about the issues?
