I hope Hot Toys make a Bruce Wayne figure, so we can get Kato's Bruce Wayne Armani's suite

I wouldn't want it becoming a trend, most of the people who got that suit bought Kato's original joker suit ( which lead to this 2.0 happening) let them have that to themselves at least!

1. Don't see HT doing a bruce wayne in suit figure (but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong)
2. Kato's quality flowing to the rest of HT's figures outfits can only be a good thing

Yeah it definitely looks more gray in the HT 2.0 teaser- maybe it's still a proto, maybe HT wants to make theirs grey again

I really like your mindset, Void. Some people in your situation might be bitter that they spent so much money on something, only to find out that the suit would be reproduced in mass production, and sold at retail prices. However, the fact that you can look at it as "it's the equivalent of having an original vs. a reproduction" says a lot about your attitude.

If there is one thing that I hope this teaches HT, it's that accuracy and quality matter. My main pet peeve, however, are the shirts. Specifically, the collars; they need to copy down Kato's method for future releases.

I assume they will listen to kato's input and direction. Since I don't think they are that dumb to spend money to hire Kato, but ignore his inputs

Originally I was annoyed, but I'm coming around to the idea that I've got an original and the certificate will be a great thing to have, I'm all for Kato's influence resulting in better tailored hot toys but I'd be happy If my other two Kato figure (Dexter & Neo) remain exclusively Kato's work. at the end of the day the news of Kato's involvement has me excited for hot toys future but at the same time would make me hesitant if I were buying from Kato again, but I do agree Umair has a great and admirable attitude!

Ya I agree there tailoring has improved, I have the original Kato suit and I'm sure hot toys will do a great job replicating it, I don't think there is much room for error when they have his designs to work from and his recommended material.

I just hope they actually listen to Kato, have his templates and know his way of making the suits vs it being like "okay we(HT) paid you for the suit. don't need you anymore. we got this." then f___ it up in the end

Wow, only just seen this now and it looks fantastic! I am excited for this Please Please HT get the head sculpt right. I don't need 2 sculpts just the one which is perfect!!!

I am your right. Hopefully they have noted how Adam went about his. Sculpt Heath first then jokerize it. I always got the feeling HT sculpted the joker and not Heath if that makes sense.

Do we know for sure that HT have not brought Adam on board for this? Is it really out of the question to think so? I mean they have gone to the trouble of getting Kato in for the costume.

I know what you mean, but when I look at bobby's joker sculpt, it has so much ledger during the casting process. But kinda lost a bit of the likeness once painted, IMO.

Wish I could be able to see one of em myself. As from some pics ( like neo's) there's definitely ledger there. But on some, not so much. But adam's on the other hand have ledger's likeness in all of his joker sculpts, even from seeing just pics.

I think someone (void maybe? and Hydeous above) said that Yulli is rumored to sculpt him and I think if she is the sculptor she'll do it like how Adam has done it as you said above. I believe she did it that way for the Nicholson Joker (nail Nicholson's likeness then make him the Joker)...at least she said so in an interview from a while back.
