HT DX05 - Indiana Jones - in-hand images

Count me in on the braindead club then, because I absolutely hate it. Seen it in hand, and hated it even more than the pictures.

Absolute arse-pie.

Desperately hoping for a 2.0 version.

I agree 100%! I've seen it in hand and it is horrible, especially considering the current quality sculpts we've come to expect from HT. The hat doesn't sit right on the head the eyes are sunken in. Was very bummed with this. The accessories were awesome though (which in a sense made it that much worse the sculpt was so bad).

Each to his own, and if you like it all the better for you. I will hold out hope we get a definitive Indy DX with clothing and accessories from all "3" movies.

yeah... I would at least like a TOD Indy dx.. White tux, torn shirt adventure gear... Nurhachi urn, sankara stones, machete, a lot of possibilities for items to include...

As Henry was mentioned as a wish list item.. I have to mention this.. ART FIGURES is releasing a SEAL based on the Connery character from the rock... the headsculpt is quite well done... likeness seems pretty good.. from some angles I love it.. from others I am not so sure.. but will get one to possibly redo my Henry custom... what do you guys think ?

Glad you like the set buddy.... building those up for the past few years has been a really good experience for me... glad to have been able to assist you in building the Indy you want.... as for the Medi sculpt. I actually have a nude Medi Henry in my spares box that is on my FS list... if you ever need one just advise..

I snagged this guy off evilbay today for a pretty good price. Got into a bidding war right at the end. I can't wait to get and set it up. Hope to post pics when I get it.

Yeah that new sculpt is ultra-real, just not sure it nails Connery though. I still think that - the very average paint apps aside - the SSC looks pretty damn close. It's one of SSC's better human sculpts.

I like this figure. I would really like to see this figure with Henry's glasses and hat on.

Nice work. He was always sweaty in the movies. Never a dry moment it seems. Maybe that's what's throwing everyone off on the sculpt.

Thanks. I darkened the beard added red to face and neck touched up around his eyes and made his arms hands neck and face sweaty.

Got mine yesterday and I love it so far. I am conflicted how I want to pose him. holding whip, holding gun, holding idol, holding nothing, gloved hands, non gloved hands....

i'm leaning towards non gloved hands holding gun in right hand and idol in left with the bag of sand sitting on the pedestal.

I had this same dilemma when I received mine. Just means that after a few months I can switch it up again.
