You underestimate MJ's fans!!
Maybe not in the US, but he's still huge all over the world, you should know!!

not underestimating MJ fans,only Figure fans that will buy this one,not too many have shown their interest on this forum.ABC express on ebay that has the cheapest figures has still a bunch available,normally their figures sells out pretty quick.

Yeah but this will be a huge hit with MJ Fans, which, honestly are the focus group... not action figure collectors.
And those MJ fans don't exactly do pre-orders for stuff like this.
Specially since most of them don't know anything about Hot Toys or the action figure/pre-order culture.
You'll see, this will be a huge hit, and hopefully we'll see more versions!

Hello again folks!!
Here's a little update on my WIP Michael Jackson bashes,
I gathered a bunch of LJN outfits, and heads, misc clothing and
here's the result so far, and some tweaks needed, including repaint of the headsculpt (which is pretty good actually) and hair resculpt... but so far looks good

MJ Thriller Video (I need to turn the head into zombie version!)

Thriller Movie werewolf version (eventually!)

I've decided to wait a bit and see if they make a thriller version. If they don't by middle of next year i'll go ahead and get this. (if i can hold out that long)

I was thinking the same originally, but after starting with my custom/bash I just preordered it, you never know if this is a one time deal or not...
so, DO IT!!!
