That poll was posted on numerous MJ forums, and a lot of fans (particularly the younger female ones) have a LOT of love for the History outfit. I was surprised too, but I liked his hair during that period, so it's cool.

No, I don't. I love Beat It, but you can easily bash together a Beat It figure from the Thriller one if you want, with a bit of sewing know-how. Honestly, I don't find 80's MJ very interesting. Sure, the music was great, but with a few notable exceptions (Billie Jean springs to mind), it was largely just happy pop, and gave no real insight into MJ's mind as an artist. I'll personally take History over Thriller any day of the week.

What I personally want to see is the MJ I grew up on, which means from 1990 onwards. I'm keen for Hot Toys to get in as many different hair styles as possible, so all his looks can be bashed. I'm quietly praying for Blood on the Dancefloor myself, I think that's one of my favourite songs ever.

The shoes appearance is the same but the ankle socket/joint is different. Double ended ball joint for Billie Jean/History and a large split ball/joint for Thriller

Well...let me tell you that the quality in this figure is great!!...I really like it and as I said yesterday, Yes, the face sculpt is not so good because as we have seen it could be much better!!...but I'm happy with the figure...and I definitely will not try to fix it...the paint and details in face and eyers is so delicate that I don´t want to spoil it...I just like to have a white version of Michael, but I think will pass on the Bad edition...maybe a Smooth Criminal or History will be the one!
