Deluxe Prison Break???? Who care sabout some TV show? The DX treatment IMO should be given to iconic characters played by big stars like The Joker/Heath Ledger, James Dean and Godfather/Brando...the kind of iconic characters/actors that warrant and have "earned" the gold-status of DX.

i just included prison break cos the sculpts are up there with the marines as early hot toys figures that if redone again-would look alot better now.i read the interview with yulli where she said she wasnt too happy with the PB sculpts(they were her first for HT) so i assumed everyone into prison break would also want improved sculpts! but yeh i agree that prison isnt big enough for dx!

its fair enough for her (yulli)to say that she didnt have enough reference for v1 joker but there will be NO EXCUSE if they release DX predator,dutch,endos etc in a years time cos those films have been around for years! so the 1st versions of those SHOULD BE THE BEST with no need for DX versions of them!

I think yes 1st versions should be the best, but DX versions would be great for a re-release for those who came late in the collecting game and aren't able to get the original version of a figure first time around.

Its not poop but its not quite right either. The problem is the nose area being too long. The face isn't scrunched enough - if I'm not mistaken it should essentially look like a younger version of the P2 Elder. Obviously they weren't going to just repaint that head minus the jewellery.

that's a pretty good description as to what's off about it. it just looks to much like the bust they put out. it'll probally look better in hand..

i think this will be THE best predator yet. i'm gonna say keep the collection!! only because they all still look awesome IMO. even though the AVP preds look way different in comparison to the other movie preds...but then you can only blame the movie itself not HT for making them accurate to the source. thats one of the problems i have with the way the Preds look from the new movies....they look like they spend too much time hitting the weights instead of out hunting. maybe that's why they got their arses whopped???

I agree, I also think that the two upper teeth look like they are pointing out and they look kind of round and not sharp if you ask me. Nut I am just being picky.

Someone posted a sidebyside picture of the figure we're getting plus a photoshop job of how it would look with a shorter 'nose area' - I think its in the main P1 Predator figure thread though you'd be a long time searching for it.

The DX series is more then just improved sculpts I think - I dont think improved sculpts alone will warrant a DX re-release. Having said that I'd be surprised if the USCM were DX'd, I mean what else is there to add to them besides a new sculpt??
