I still bought it bro because its all i collect Predator stuff, its worth buying imo but the SSc exclusive doesnt offer anything else but a damaged bio which you can grab on ebay. Id still buy the figure if your into Predator stuff man but its up to you. With the P2 regular BD you get the same bio you got with the first P2
This is all so confusing. I just want my cool Predator figure.

I read in a previous post that the damaged bios was for VIPS in HK and were being handed out to people, i wonder if they will honor it to the SSC customers who want the exclusive with the bio..
Yeah,I already ordered the one with the Ex helmet,but I was like should I keep my order for another P2 figure with the P2 elder coming in a week or should I cancel it and hold out and get it later?Cause I really only want the Elder Pred.But if the P2 BD is going to be great piece then maybe I should get it now,and just scrape up the cash for the P2 elder when the time comes.

The P2 original and Elder are sold out pretty much EVERYWHERE i was scouring the net to try and find a P2 for MaulFan but ebay only had 1 and it was 200+ i think the BD figure will also get a bit of value, but i think the main reason behind the P2 original hiking up in value is because it was the first one along with the Elder
The more I think about it, the more I'm guessing SSC Exclusive customers will get both masks. IF the damaged mask was handed out with the figures for the VIPs, that would indicate that production just ran off however many BD Pred figures, then a small number of the damaged masks to be added later. My guess is all the figures come out the same and SSC Ex. figures have the BD mask in a bag taped to the blister with the instructions.

All it boils down to at the end of the day is how much do you really want another figure, only reason im buying it is for that WICKED open mouth sculpt and the chopped off arm. It will look awesome all beat up next to my P2 original and Elder
Which I still very much appreciate, I wish we'd known about the regular BD having the mask before going through that trouble.
As for the price hike on the P2, I think on top of being the first, it's also the best looking masked Predator to date, especially sporting the more classic build for the body as opposed to the beefy AVPs which many fans were happy with. So prior to the regular BD now being sort of THE P2 figure, it was just Hot Toys best Predator effort.
I don't think you'll see the BD figure gain as much momentum though. I actually envision a lot of sellers parting it out for people wanting the mandibles head and I'm sure the construction's the same and you could use the BD arm on the original P2 figure, so the best after market for this figure will likely be to kitbashers trying to get the best of everything.

For those P2 auctions that go over $200 I think someone is fooling around. Most of the ones I see have a bidder with *** in their user ID.
I think this is the most logical assumption and we'll know soon enough whether or not it's the answer we're hoping to hear.

i have been screening ebay like a vulture since noon saturday, every 20 minutes or so, for some sign of a parted up bd figure from hk sellers.
, trying to nab a medkit. bloody hell i only slept around 3 hours a night since then, nothings shown up yet and im getting very tired

Once people start catching on that the BD P2 has the mask included with the regular figure, I bet the first P2 figures won't go for a so much. I'm sure the craze right now is because of lack of availability of the figure and people wanting the masked P2 like I did. Thankfully news of the P2 BD reached me before spending a boat load on the original figure just over the mask, but I'm sure a lot of others looking at it from my POV don't know about the BD having the mask and are shelling out more than they ought to.

My dealer said that a lot of their shipment was cut because of Stateside orders. He said he ordered 20 but received only six in the end. That would explain why we haven't seen them for sale in pieces. Don't worry I think you'll see the medkit up for sale once Sideshow starts shipping them out.

The medikit looks really cool man, it opens up and you can make out all the tools etc, all it needs is a light that turns on when it opens up
I'd really like to pick up an extra med-kit to replace the inert one that came with my first P2. Guess I'd better be prepared to lose even more sleep hunting for one once the BD ships.
Jamal, I'll bet Hurricane could make that happen... the guy's a wizard with miniature electronics. You've seen what he did with the Colonial Marines' lamps and motion tracker, right? He said he could even add the targeting laser to the Pred's mask for about £15! At some point I will probably have him do that for me, like after the P1 comes out.

The tools don't look that good in my opinion. They used a dark plastic for the tools and painted it silver. But the silver coating wasn't thick enough and looks very cheap. Not a big deal though cause I don't pose him with the kit open.

My kit will be sitting at his feet, the drawcard for me here is the chopped arm, headsculpt & respirator which ill pose all at once
