I know, the wait's driving me nuts, and the Palpatine/Sidious 2pack is supposed to ship this week too so they gotta get the Preds going before they have all those on their hands.

Anyone get a ship notice tonight? I'm wondering if something's happened and they haven't actually arrived yet, that happened with another HT piece, I think the Power Loader, the 3-5's went out but then the PLs got held up in customs or something.

This is exactly what I meant, bro. And that is exactly the sequence I borrowed the poses from. You put on quite a clinic of photoshop techinques there... maybe our combined demonstration will encourage other HT Pred owners to have a little more fun with theirs. What's the point of having an articulated figure if it ends up just standing on the shelf in a static pose, with a figure stand holding it up? Maybe some people are afraid of breaking something, but this figure is pretty sturdy, and with a little care and patience there is a lot of fun to be had trying out different poses from the movie with this guy. I say go for it!
I'm really starting to think these are held up in customs or something, the Palps 2packs are getting pre-authed already, if they ship first, I'm definitely seeing it as a sign of delay with these.

I spoke with customer service to combine my Old Ben, Palpatine & BD Predator together to save of shipping. They said P2 started shipping last Monday & Palpatine is shipping this week from the 28/01/2008. So they might be combining you shippment for you...
That'd be a little crappy if they did, I didn't ask for it to be that way and I didn't think they combined if u don't ask, plus I think others posting here got the elder and the BD, so why not combine those also.

Just got my VIP version BD Pred 2. The packaging is the same as what is used for the regular version. It does have a sticker whacked on the front to indicate it is the BD version, but that's it.
The BD mask was in a plastic bag, loose, inside the box. Comes with both masks, breather, medikit. The medikit is very nifty. Two lids open up, then you pull one half out from the other. No need to pull hard. Once separated, the sides of the lower half fold down. So it's all there. So no sweating it, the SSC exclusive should be the same. Get your Freak on.

Medikit attaches via slotted hole/Ventilator plugs into hole in armour.
My Review. The BD Predator2 is another Hot Toys marvel. It wasn't that hard to put together, and the instructions are a good enough aid. The knee guards, I just used a paper clip to hold his netting down, whilst edging it up over the calf, then it was home. Everything else was relatively easy. This Pred comes with lots of extra's. Once assembled, changing over any of the accessories ends in the need to reassemble some other part. His armour vest is in two parts for easy assembly, but it comes apart easily as well, once on. Three right hands, one left, rather odd. The left shin guard has a holster of some sort but whatever goes in there isn't included. The medikit attaches onto the back of the armour. I had a quick go at mounting it but was unsuccessful. I'm not going to attach it at this point, until I sort out how I want to display it because it will undoubtedly fall off if I try to change something else. I may leave it off all together. The shoulder canon is minimal and versatile, I like it. It's a great figure with lots of accessories, but much of it will sit in the box. Not a practical figure by any means. It's a great figure but nowhere near as good as the Pred 2 Elder.
You guys hanging out for the P2 Elder are really going to have something to sing about. There's something about the Elder that isn't replicated in the warrior. He just looks better standing, let alone posing. Yep The P2 Elder wins the day fer sure.
