Dutch and Billy (repainted) do look great together, but I'm still on the fence about buying any humans from the Predator or Aliens line. However, I'd have a serious issue with "Private Billy Sole" on the display placard. Where in the movie does it ever mention his full name and rank? It's not even specified in the closing credits. He simply goes by "Billy", short for William I assume, which seems to be a popular English name for Native Americans. But how does a "private" get selected for an elite SFOD-D team, when Specialist is the minimal rank requirement? Sorry. That just bugs the hell out of me. Yeah, okay, it's just a movie and these are technically action figures, but still...

its kind of a shame that the actors didnt give 100% likeliness for the figures. Imagine if all actors of predator gave likeliness, this WOULD BE one of the greatest 1/6 figure collections. I doubt we will see the rest, which probably stopped more than myself from buying the 2 commandos

Well, on the name issue - nowhere in the film does it ever say that Dutch's real name is Alan Schaeffer either so theres no need to single out the naming of Billy 'Sole'. The rank seems odd though I suppose.

The lack of announcement about any further P1 soldiers is unfortunate. Really seemed like there was at least 2 more no-brainer 'must-make' figures.

The problems on Billy may have contributed here. Apparently the P1 soldiers are too generic to not have the actor likenesses for some people. I'd have bought them all regardless but I think if you're not going to have it look like the actor at least get the outfit and accessories as accurate as possible. Billy's jacket seems to be darker every time I look at it whereas in the film it was bright green, and the lack of shirt too is annoying.

That is true about them never mentioning Dutch's first or last name in the movie. I recall him being called "Major" more than once by his crew, and I think Dillon called him "Dutch" a few times. As for Billy's rank of Private...yeah, they should have gone higher. Say, Lieutenant at least. Since it is a special elite military team they're supposed to be in. The two other "given" human characters that Hot Toys SHOULD make next are Blaine and Mac! Especially Blaine with his huge minigun, and a mouthful of chewing tobacco! Mac needs the M-60, and yeah...even the pink disposable razor, if Hot Toys is going to get that specific! I've already seen one great kitbash Dillon from using the Hot Toys Rocky IV Apollo Creed figure. So it can be done. I have a feeling Hot Toys has already moved on from the Predator line.

Wouldn't it be great to sit down with them, and get all of these answers to all of the quetions with Hot Toys about this line, and all of our other favorites?

How do you get the tape around the knife sheath? Do you have to cut the tape sheet into smaller strips before applying it?

Silentsurfer did a great re-paint of mine. You should try PM'ing him. I'll have a couple of photos of mine up later tonight. By the way, can anyone tell me if Billy's handgun has a holster, or if it's just a loose weapon? I didn't see anywhere where the gun would go on his suit.

Actually it is the last piece I need for my Billy! I chose to build up Billy piece by piece! Bad choice on my part! I've now paid twice of what I could have paid board member "mista305" for his boxed Billy...at $90.00 shipped!

Someday I'll learn patience...I guess. No...I really hope!

Yeah, I'm kicking myself now after spending TOO much on a Billy figure on eBay by getting it piece by piece!

Oh well. I did get a Dutch figure from mista305 aka Joe for a great price. So I shopped smart that time!
