Not much action in this section, huh?
Just thought I'd share, as something rather odd happened when I was slightly re-positioning Billy's right arm. I only needed to move it a little bit forward, but as I started to move it I felt something bulge in the back of the shoulder. There was no sound to indicate breakage and the arm works fine, but something poked a hole straight through the rubber from the inside?
The movement I did was very subtle, so thats not really the factor here, as I can see something moving inside the body, right where the hole is. Just a light few millimeter movement and the shoulder turned white and started bulging. Not a single thing pointed to the fact that the rubber might be dry or particularly fragile and now there's a hole in it? Just wondering might there be some sort of defect in this body?
Rubber is very streched and white around the hole and if I leave it like this, I'm sure it will turn into a tear eventually.
Not that big of a deal really, but I just thought I'd ask if anyone has had any issues with HT rubber body's? I have heard "horror" stories and seen pictures of damaged body's (not HT though), but how easily does a tear begin? Or has anyone else had a similar experience with Billy?
I guess I'm a little conserned if the quality of the rubber bodies has dropped or not? Since this might affect my future purchases.
I dont play with my collectibles and Billy's hand has been in a very standard position since I got him. Well inside the limits that the manual suggest...
I have Rambo III and Hellboy myself, but neither of them has any problems with the body + Rambo has been in way extreme poses than Billy without a scratch?
But anyway I guess I should be more worried about that bright green circle thingy, right?
