yea, the chest piece is my biggest problem. even with the mods though the Medicom piece is still sexier to me.

you're right though, the HT fig poses GREAT.

i'm not complaining about it(and i think it's a good fig), i just think it's funny people have no problem with the added girth when people here gripe about more inane things.

i'm pretty forgiving of innaccuracies, but ignoring this body builder in the bat-suit is hard for me.

Its not like you cant fix it.

The poster...in terms of DESIGN and EXECUTION, its brilliant.

In person it doesn't bother me, he can look chunky in pictures, but like i said it depends, just standing straight and not to much futzing he can look funky but posed or tweaked he can look pretty spot on, the most prominent thing is his chest armor is a bit big but overall he's pretty well proportioned.

Ya, overall in hand, he just looks like a fully armored person, doesn't look like a body builder or out of proportion. The only visual gripe I had was the belly, which thanks to you is fixed, so I'm totally happy now. Chest armor could flush a little flatter to the body, but in hand it does look like it's bigger armor and not an oversized chest.

I would love for Hot Toys to make a Bruce Wayne someday, A) to have a suit just like one he wears on screen, and B) to see if Yulli can nail Bale's portrait, love to see a great on in HT's style, but so far Andy B.'s is still the best Bale likeness in 1/6.

the legs are fine, but i don't see how people can say it's not as big in-hand considering he's got big arms, and a huge chest. and considering it's more plating than armor, it shouldn't look like a guy armored up, as Bale didn't at all.

Looking at mine right now, I'd say the only thing out of proportion is the head and neck, scale them up like 15-20% and the rest would probably look spot on. One area Hot Toys isn't so great with on these figures is they make heads for standard figures, but by the time you pad on the suits, the overall figure from the neck down is fairly larger, so the heads seem misproportioned a bit. Thankfully the cowled heads are pretty good, but the Wayne heads look significantly tiny on the suited bodies.

I think it's a combination of the bodies being suited with the Wayne heads actually being a little too small in scale. Even looking at a regular True Type in a (business) suit with a Wayne head, the head still looks just a little too small. It also looks small when compared to the Joker, but that may be as much to do with the Joker having more fullness to his hair (I guess he's using a good conditioner) and Bale's being slicked down as anything else.

I think the only way we'd ever see a full HT Wayne figure is when the next movie comes out (I don't buy Nolan's claims he's not sure if it will happen - WB will keep throwing money at him until it does) if they can somehow manage to engineer a removable Batsuit and sell a 2-in-1 figure like the Superman one.

It is a great figure, looks a little too bulky without mods, but fantastic with a couple.

However, Bale was buff in TDK. It is a common misconception he was not. He's just considerably less bulky than how massive he was in BB.

Hey guys did any of you order your batman from goodshipped on ebay?
I got it from them because they were one of the first ebayers to get the bb batman.
First they said end of oct then he said beggining of nov and again he has changed the date to end of nov.
Should i be worryed???

Last I heard from Leo was beginning Nov, that was as of 25 Oct. When did he say end Nov? Anyone who has received their TDK bats / other figure from goodshipped??

After skimming this thread I actually think this costume looks much, much cooler as a figure than it does in any other media.

Agreed, I'm not a fan of the real suit in a lot of images but I absolutely love the figure.

well thats the thing, we dont really know yet. there was a bit of a miscommunication a couple pages earlier, where people thought they were talking about the big changes that they recently made, before releasing the figure (new sculpt, suit tweaks etc etc) but that is not the case,we knew they had already been done.
apparently word has it that the 2nd batch being shipped has a few of the changes noted in the above picture, a slimmer body/stomach/arm/leg profile, and a darker suit
would they really change these things at the drop of a hat like that though? arent these supposed to be mass released, meaning they already would have made thousands?

is there any word that proves this to be correct?

Ok here we go....Ax2 a member on the toy-world boards has this to say:

(1) No difference on the body
(2) The chest piece for wave 2 is smaller and fits closer to the body
(3) Color of the suit is darker
(4) Shoulder armor is a better fit (closer fit to the arms)
(5) The patterns on the armor has better definition (he says the legs look skinnier for the wave 2 because the leg patterns are more obvious. This makes the legs look skinnier).

Overall he says you need to look pretty hard to spot the differences. No pictures because you need to have these in hand to tell the difference.

Not sure how I feel about this. Glad to hear that the body is about the same....but the smaller chest armor and shoulder armor still pisses me off a little. Why can't they just keep it the same. Hot Toys is just looking for trouble no matter how they spin it. Keep all the waves the same and there would be less trouble. Make either wave different than the other and there is bound to be people complaining.
