Stay dry, stay safe, lEast coast.

Did any of you catch Bloomberg's address yesterday, and the crazy sign language lady next to him? I literally could not pay attention, because of how ridiculous it looked. I'm pretty sure that I witnessed the birth of a new meme..

We seemed to have dodged a bullet here. Lost power around 6pm yesterday but it came back around 11. Thankfully the sump pump didn't overflow while power was out and our basement didn't flood. Halloween is the best time of the year for us to lose power...house is covered with candles, both real and led. Seems like nj and ny got the worst of it. Hopefully freaks in those areas are ok.

Breathed a sigh of relief. Wow! we got lucky and didn't lose power, no flooding, just a leak in the ceiling of one room. so sad for those in the hard hit areas. Heartbreaking to see.

I hope folks affected have taken the proper precautions and stay safe. Unfortunately, I have lots of first hand experience with hurricanes and the damage they can do. Not fun.

I live in upstate South Carolina and seems that the storm just missed us ( all we would have seen was rain, wind or snow ). The wind was kicking up really bad yesterday but nothing major. It was supposed to be very bad weather today but so far it just looks cloudy outside. The mountains usually save us from the bad weather as literally we are about 40 minutes drive or so from the feet of them.

Hurricanes can turn into horrible natural disasters and I am hoping everyone remains safe. Really sucks what is happening in NY, NJ and other areas at the moment :(

We got off pretty easy here in central pa.

Yeah not sure what happened, but we never lost power either. The way the map had the storm tracking it was going to go right over us. Don't get me wrong we had tons of rain and strong ass wind, but I was expecting more. Thankfully most of it went south I believe.

did anyone get snow I heard some places did

West Virginia is getting hit. My dad has been visiting his relatives in Elkins and they're in the thick of it right now. But they're so used to winter conditions, I'm sure things will be okay.

very good Godspeed to youre dad getting back can you ask him to take come pics please?
