I haven't seen that in years.

I've been watching some of the up-close footage of the fire fight, it was pretty intense. Sounds like Dorner had a couple automatic rifles and was letting hell loose.

I heard he did something to a few of the semi-auto guns he had to make them auto. I don't know if this is true but was something floating around earlier.

An easy way to do it is using bump stocks. They are pretty cheap. That said I see no reason why this guy couldn't have obtained them just by purchasing them. He was a police officer and could very well have access or at least gotten the required licenses to personally own them.

I think the cops were hot headed.

I have mixed feelings about this. Either way the guy killed innocent people and can now not do anymore harm. I'd say mission accomplished.

I'd say he proved the cops murder people too and made them look like incompetent secretive panic whores to alot of people on live tv more or less proving his point. Straight up lying at the press conferences, not letting the news choppers film what was happening, shooting at innocent women in LA, Fish and Game wardens running through the woods firing hundreds of shots with no id, they still don't even know if it's him in there but they killed him by going Waco pt.2. They look far from professional or competent right now not being able to say they murdered the correct criminal. They were searching cars because he may have had an accomplice? "But now he's dead so lets not worry about that guy even though we're not sure who we killed."

You don't burn the place to a crisp so it takes weeks to know if you got the right guy while meanwhile he can flee to another country, you go in and put a bullet in his head personally and confirm you got the right guy. That's why the police pay SWAT teams and arrest arsonists. Unless of course they need to be hypocritical or get things wrapped up before the pres is on at 9pm.

First they didn't. If you know what happened it they ripped the building partially open(thus allowing him an easier and safer way to to exit for everyone involved) and then used burners to set the place on fire. He chose to stay in the building(also likely he commuted suicide before being burned) making it his choice to die that way. Tear gas doesn't work if you prepared for it(which he likely was)

Actually either way they had a individual who was heavily armed based on the rate of fire coming from the building, who would not surrender to law enforcement, if(and a HUGE if) it was not him the person who was in the building was a serious treat.

To do realize way more agencies besides LAPD were on site. San Bernardino Sheriffs had a much larger presence, swat teams from multiple agencies,federal agencies.

They told the news to back off and cut the feed, then burned him. I guess some of you are too young to remember Waco. Watch the footage of what happened when he did try to come out of the cabin shot on cell phones by a news reporter right on the front line, he's met with tons of automatic weapon fire and smoke grenades from the police, not his, they told the news were just being used to mark locations and then that it was him trying to escape. The police commissioner lied on CNN about how the fire was started claiming it was due to flashbangs and that was the only thing they used. Why all the lies? Because they weren't going to take him alive and have more bad press come out for them in his trial now that his case was reopened and they weren't going to let it interfere with the state of the union so they murdered him. This is why I have no sympathy for dead cops. They may have been the good ones but they aren't "the good guys" black and white, they lie, they murder, and when they behave no differant than the criminals, they get the same level of respect.

If they had even the slightest thought its not him, they would have one not stopped checks leaving the area or would stop investigating this?

Remember he was positively ID'ed by fish and game, same person car jacked another person(who also provided details about the person who took the vehicle) who is the same person who took cover in the building who had a shootout with Sheriffs(and killing one). So unless he had a second person working with him already in the building willing to die for him how was it not him.

We're news asked to back up, yes, they do that all the time for everyone's safety. Come on you think the news should be showing him exactly what's being planned outside the building?

No there was a fish and game officer who said he was close enough to know it was him.
