And I was just starting to put together a few pieces to build myself a custom Neo... shame on me.

If this is their first figure then what a great start. As soon as it goes on PO i'll pick one up!

It is looking great and I love the lobby look for Neo, one of my favourite scenes in the entire trilogy.

Apart from Smith, Trinity and Morpheus, I also wouldn't mind the Twins from Reloaded. I think only the main 4 will ever be made, but hopefully they are able to get that far.

that is very well put. infact i am going to slow down my custom collection too. the certificates and numbers never meant much to me. I was collecting them cause no one was making what i wanted. But off late one has to be more and more careful before jumping on a 1k plus custom. i will still collect them but not at the rate i was doing past 2 years or so.

Looks fantastic. I have the Iminime, but will also grab this. These releases are making it more unnecessary for me to pick up customs. The only problem is knowing who is going to make a the same figure a year or two later. I'll just have to be much more prudent in picking and choosing, foregoing DX versions, and setting my max limit at maybe $350 for H+C. But there are not that many customs I'm interested in these days.

Hopefully this one is just the first of more Matrix figures. A good quality Trinity and Morpheus are a must.

Great looking figure and headsculpt... but unfortunately I just have a hard time getting excited about anything Matrix anymore after that third horrid movie. I wish someone could wipe it from my memory so I could love the first movie as much as I used to. Lol

That's like saying you can't watch JAWS because the sequels were so bad.

I disregard the two sequels for the most part. Although I do like the last third of "Reloaded" -- the chateau fight thru the freeway chase is excellent action. Once Neo became "superman", there really was no where to go with that saga.

Hopefully this one is just the first of more Matrix figures. A good quality Trinity and Morpheus are a must.

They did have a picture with a sculpt of Trinity on the table unpainted.

Well it probably helps that I never saw those Jaws sequels. And there certainly wasn't nearly the same level of anticipation surrounding them that surrounded the Matrix sequels, since most people probably expected them to suck without Spielberg involved.

Of course I have been able to put the SW prequels and Indy 4 out of my mind and get back to enjoying those series, so hopefully I'll be able to do the same with Matrix someday...

I went to see Reloaded at the movies, such a let down after the "revelation" of the first movie. I can only remember a few scenes, like the cool outfit convention when they all met up at the start and some dude making that hot chick cum by glitching the matrix at the restaurant.

Never even bothered to watch revolutions. I think I'll leave it that way, the first one stands alone as such a great sci-fi movie. Will always be a favorite, need this fig!!
