I'd just get it from a reputable seller like KGhobby or Monkey Depot. If there are any cease and desist issues then they'll just refund you.

Well. They contacted the licensor, and than decided to go unofficial. It was not hard to find them and make it known to them that they could not do that.
There are custom project shut down by licensor because they found a threat here at SSF, and it is much easier to trace you if somebody posts your pics all across the facebook (and they know you were looking for licence).

It's what you would expect from 2000. Toyish now, like a Hasbro.

It was quite nice back in the day. I treasure it now solely for being one of the unknown Hot Toys first efforts.

Yeah, I hunted high and low for that figure and was stoked when I was finally able to score one. It was pretty sweet at the time... but man does it show it's age now. I had him and the George Lucas figure from their "Famous Type" series

I keep an eye on the various figure pages on Facebook. One Sixth Republic and ToyznHobby are a couple.
