Please put me down for a John Marston head sculpt, thanks. By the way I know they use to sell small sombreros and ponchos at Olivera St. in L.A., CA haven't been there in ages. But they sold them as souvenirs. I remember my cousin putting them on his G.I. Joes.

You're now on the list toylion! :1-1: :)

Our list keeps growing! That's GREAT news!

Maybe that place you're talking about on Olivera St. in Los Angeles, CA still has those small sombreros and ponchos. Can you take a look and check for us? That would be great if they did still have them! Please take a look, and let us know here. Maybe we can work something out where you can get some for us, and we could pay you back for them. It sounds like they are in the 1/6 scale, or for 12" figures if your cousin was able to put them on the 12" G.I. Joe figures.

Thanks! :wave

Thanks JediMike71. Lol, I knew you were going to ask me to see. It's very hard for me to get there, that's one of the reasons I haven't been there in years. I live 50 miles from L.A. now and work weekends. If I get the chance I would be happy to check. Just don't know when I be able to get there. Traffic and parking are horrible Downtown L.A.

toylion, thanks for the links. I like those mats in the second link but those are huge!! Too bad they weren't smaller, I like that tan one for a poncho.

I just cut a paper towel to 10"x10". Once you fold it in half it's only 5" front and back, should just reach below a 1/6 figures waist. And then the ends (sides) can be trimed down about an 1" off each side depending how wide you want your poncho. If your going for the Clint Eastwood look you may not have to trim much.

It's okay. I understand. Hopefully we will be able to just order them online. Thanks again for your help and the information! Great stuff! I'd like to get my John Marston a poncho like the one he wears in the game. Very cool! :clap

Hey, I see your guy on a 1/6 scale....HORSE! That's what I want for my John Marston! A 1/6 scale black horse with a yellow tail and mane. Or, I can just repaint it to that color scheme, since that is the coloring of the "War Horse" I have in the game. Where did you get your horse toylion? I really want one for my Marston to sit on. I saw that Stevostoys said he was sold out of the 1/6 scale horses. Let me know where you got your horse. Thanks! :wave

Those are "Best of the West Horses" You can find them on Ebay under "Marx", "Best of the West" or "Johnny West". They can easily be painted. I have a few of them. If you clink on my link at the very bottom you can see my Collection.

Here's one.

you sir, had one of the best western collection I had ever seen!!! :bow

Anyone have a good suggestion for marston's shoulder bag/satchel? I ordered the Aldo Raine one, but it ended up being way too big...

Yeah, if you have a Sideshow Raiders Indy, or a Crystal Skull Indy 1/6 scale figure...his shoulder bag may work. :dunno I have the Raiders Indy. I'll try it out soon and see if it works.

Prolly a Indiana Jones type bag.

Hmm, not too sure. Marston has got a really tiny sack :monkey3 :lol

Well...I'd still try out one of those Sideshow Indy shoulder bags. I was thinking of buying the Aldo Raine bag. But now that you've said it's too big, I'm going to pass on it. Thanks for the tip on it! :wave
