Because only so many people bought Cowboys I wonder if there will be demand that exceeds that number for the others?

I'm contemplating trying to convince Denny to offer a complete collection set including all three in very limited number (~10) to accommodate those who want all three but missed out on cowboy offering All three is a big enough committement that I don't think regular cowboy owners will mind. Gotta look into it to see if it's even possible (enough remaining casts etc)

I'd totally be into buying a complete collection set similar to the DX Superset for The Angry Bride!

I'm still really bitter i missed out on the DX cause of a crappy website glitch and was hoping this was gonna be my chance to get that DX sculpt finally, bit of a drag it's not gonna happen...

If it's a run of less than 10, I'm guessing these won't be newly sculpted boots, but rather something that can be found among existing boots on Ebay or whatever. In which case, even if they are more accurate it's no biggie since folks can get them that way.

Really? Interesting. I feel the opposite. I think they nailed Van Cleef in both sculpt and paint-up. The only place that I see room for improvement on him is how high the hat sits. I actually think that Tuco could've used some adjustments. The nose is a bit too bulbous IMO (I guess they decided not to change it) and the paint-up is a bit pale. Also his eyes appear more hazel than brown (maybe that's just the pic though); but those are both easy fixes if it was considered.

Actually I'm not joking... You asked Wake if they were upgraded boots which was fine but when he said no you come back with "Instead of upgraded boots, would more accurate be a better description". Obviously if they are more accurate that would be an upgrade, so what are you getting at? Pointing out your dislike for the original boots is obvious which led me to feel you are suggesting that the original buyers aren't getting the upgrade the trio buyers will be, hence my conclusion of "stirring something up"

If a 3-D sculpt was developed, then presumably it would be more accurate, since the original boots really aren't very accurate in terms of shape. But if it isn't made of the suede-type material, then some could argue it isn't necessarily an upgrade, even if more accurate, because of the quality of materials. But my guess is they won't be new sculpts at all. If they are still inaccurate but also not with the fancy material used in the first run boots, then it's easier to say that they aren't an "upgrade," but none of this is clear.

Its not clear because this was JUST announced. Maybe Denny and I should have nailed down everything before mentioning it but since its 1.5 months away from happening I figured there would be plenty of time to iron out the details.
