Nice to know that this thread is getting back to its former glory. I've read through just about every page, but I didn't really feel like interrupting the pissing contests. Nah, but really, every little piece of information is a welcome addition, and never have I wanted Christmas to be over as badly as I do this year (the quicker it's over, the quicker we see this thing).

The DX sculpt will only be available with the DX sets, and Denny is still undecided on the regular hatted sculpt.

With Trevor handling a Blondie, maybe we can ask Rainman to revist Angel Eyes with his current skill level itll be definitive IMO, and Velvet Morning can do Tuco. So all in all we get a unique and arguably definitive GBU set from three top artists!

Maybe ask rainman to make an ocelot figure instead of angle eyes. Because if the current trend continues, rainman's product will be cannibalizing one another.

I think it's unfair for the buyers of iminime to ask Denny not to make Gordon v2, but when it comes to rainman figures, they couldn't care less bout the owner of the past figures.

I think Angeleyes is good just the way it is.

I think with rainman's current skill, it will be a pretty significant improvement. Since his sculpting skill have improved so much within these past few years.

But I don't think it's a good idea, considering those who bought it have paid premium prices. Just look at what happen at iminime's Gordon outfit idea that Denny pitched in a while ago.

Ofcourse itll be a pretty significant improvement as his skin texturing and likeness and paints have improved a lot. If premium price and exclusivity is a hindrance, then I see no reason why someone else other than Rainman can take it up.

Just like it happened with Blondie

The nature of this hobby is to keep improving... so I really dont adhere or have an aversion to remakes if they are a significant upgrade that is...

Don't know if you saw, but back at the Gordon thread everyone who bought it, including the usual iminime supporters like Raymond Ferraro, intothevoid etc expressed their disagreement, despite Denny stating that the gordon clothing set will be different and will be improved.
