Indiana Jones in German Disguise 12-inch Figure

The sad reality is that those of us that are pointing out the shortcomings but still buying are doing it simply because it's either the only version of the character out there or, compared to Hasbro etc., the best. If HT or EB were producing the same figures as SS right now then they would be completely pushed out of the 1:6 market.

That's the case for me. SSC has made some of my favorite characters that you just can't get anywhere else. I bit the bullet and spent extra money kitbashing and upgrading them.

Well I was really happy with my Indiana Jones and it cost half the price of my Rocky III and my Joker. Also John Connor looks great but his price in the UK is shocking

Some of us, myself included, have really reduced the amount of SS figures we're buying. Not all of them are crap but very few of them are worth the asking price compared to what other companies are doing.

I see great potential in the Joe line as long as they can work out the bugs of the Pro though and I would love for SS to step it up and be a real contender in the 1:6 market and give HT and the like a run for their money.

Well, for all of you that are "unhappy" there are people filling your places. It may be slow with how things are economically but there are new people to SS all the time. I've gotten very few figures over the years from SS that I was unhappy with the price/quality. I have had a few HT figures and the 3 POTC ones I had come to mind none of which I thought justified the price really.

This choice seems even ^^^^ing more stupid.

I did some looking I can build this figure minus the made up rocket launcher for only $17. And after Belloqs poor as $h!t tailoring, I'd prefer to buy the clothes from another company.

Oh and in the movie at this point, he has lost his whip, bag, hat and jacket and guns on the Bantu Wind when the Nazi submarine raids it.

That means THE ONLY ACCESSORIES he could come with are the Rocket and a removable hat.

I hate Hasbro, and I'm starting to really hate Sideshow just as much. If they kill the line with this figure thats it for me buying ^^^^ from them.

Because its only the 3rd figure and already a rehash, in an economic crisis, during a time when 1/6 lines are dying and its a line that has alot of recent experiance being killed due to lack of interest.

And no, Hasbro's Raider line and if you wanna get real technical the Disney line and lego lines have not made this figure.

Only Hasbro 12" and vintage Kenner.

Because 3 figures in, it's a variant? And this is after the less than stellar Belloq. Seems entirely logical to me. If by some miraculous chance I end up picking this up, it'll be because of the exclusive and I'll have to rationalize, as I did with Belloq, that the figure itself is the exclusive accessory because I seriously doubt the accessories he comes with (again, unless it's the German he punked for the outfit) will justify the price. Besides, anybody with an unused un-hatted head sclupt can pick up a Dragon Nazi for pennies and save the cash by doing a bash.
