Got mine today. Originally had the first mark ii,and was said to see it go. I sold it when this was announced. I can offically say, I no longer miss the first version. This one blows the other out of the water. So glad I got this.

I agree. I had the first MK 2 loose and it was great but knew this was going to be epic. The only things I wish it has was lights on the armored feet and a head that would tilt back for flight pose.

got mine friday, defiantly a decent improvement over the original version. i was a little bummed taking mine out of the package when i noticed black smudges on his chest. thankfully it was just some powder of some kind and wiped off.

i do wish the head was a tiny bit lower on the neck but its not as bad as people where making it out in this thread early on. the main issis is the neck not being able to go forward, not the head being too high......anyways glad i finally got it

Congrats. :clap
Pics if you get a chance.

Got this one a few days ago, pretty nice. Is it just me, or is the articulation lacking compared to the Mark VI and IV? I was planning passing this one but got it as a gift. Once I have more room I'd like to do a table display piece.

The gap around the helmet in the Don Cheadle head really bugs the crap out of me though. I planned on displaying it with that head for the 'I"m only going to say this once..' scene, but it just looks bad.

Congrats. :clap

sure thing!
though, pics will are crap since all i have on me atm is my ancient camera from 98 :monkey2

like i said i dont find the head to be all too high (it is but just a little), the lines of the trapezius of the suit are just above the mouth of the helmet when the suit is in a standard "relaxed" stance. the neck on these figures just needs to be able to move forward NOT the head being on the neck being lower. a small trick for this guy is if you "unstick"the glue on the necks cup freeing it from the neck piece. it allows another mm of forward movement with the neck. it makes a world of difference since this figure doesn't have a double jointed neck peg in the body, just a stationary one.

im surprised nobody has make third party necks for these guys yet. the back and forward articulation of IM necks has been an issue for so long now.

anywho, on with the crappy pics :rotfl

Looking good there!

You're right about the neck. Members here have modded, some say to turn it so that the back of the neck is used as the front, but it would be nice if someone also sold shorter necks.

foooo... i think this is the most bad ass iron from hot toys. i love it. can't wait for it.

Mine is one its way to me. EX version. I always loved the MK2's styling.

I own 3 so far. This is the 2nd. Best. The only problem I have is no Tony face in helmet (hint to anyone that has one cheap).

I have WM/mark2/mark6 I have to say with the lights on the light up my front room. I have found the mk2 in my little one bedroom as a night light twice now.

Working one the 4th and later today (maybe War monger)

So how come this is still going for retail price in the secondary market? It looks awesome.
