Why doesn't Iron Man just fly to the Mandarin's hangout and ****ing kill him at the beginning of the movie? He's just some dwarf in a robe.

Shoulda had Bridges play Mandarin.

Maybe he thought it was just "theatricality and deception", ya know, cus' that's what Bane's all about.

Plus, if Jeff Bridges played the big M, you could have lines like "some people think I'm a terrorist.... but's that's just like, your opinion man."

Why do marvel movies open early in other countries? Not to sound like an idiot I'm sure there's some financial reason .

Why do marvel movies open early in other countries? Not to sound like an idiot I'm sure there's some financial reason .

Thanks to our floundering economy , movies are starting to make more overseas than domestically. Avengers had alot of foreign financing and one of the first movies to really outshine domestic gross on a mega-hit scale. We will continue to see more concessions to foreign entities as the trend continues. Might be a good reason why the Mandarin isn't actually chinese.

Most of the US made blockbusters have made a ton more overseas than home base.

Not a new trend, but also not shocking either when the world population is what, 7 billion.

Just sucks having to wait for movies that's all.

I thought it was red too. Had a thought on this one, maybe it's like Iron Monger from IM2 where you sit inside but you're not actually physically inside the arms and legs, just the body.

Mark 33 - Silver Centurion

Mark 40 - Shotgun

I can't copy/paste the other two full body pictures of Mark 38 - Igor and Mark 17 - Heartbreaker. I guess they're not "officially" released yet, but you can see them if you do the Facebook app thingy.

They also show previews for the next two on the Facebook app. Can't link them either, but you can see them there. You can clearly tell that from it's outline, one of them is that deep space armor concept design. This one:

The other one I think we saw in the latest trailer. It appears to have these long, claw/crane-like arms and is a very large suit.


I'm really loving these new suits so far. They don't feel generic or like cheap knock-offs. I can see any one of them being one of Ironman's main suits that he wears throughout an entire film. Except the goofy "Igor" design.

Of the four full-body pics that have been released, I'd have to say the Silver Centurion is my favorite. Followed by Shotgun, then Heartbreaker. Don't really care for Igor.

I wonder if they've really designed 40+ suits. I've never been a huge Ironman fan but if there are 40 new armor designs out there as figures or statues..I'm going to be broke.

Well time does fly, but 2011 saw the lowest domestic ticket sales since 1995. 2012 was a great year, but it just makes the most sense as the dollar is worth less and less and fewer people are filling the seats.

The Silver Centurion is easily my favorite suit to come out of this movie so far. An actual Iron Man comic suit that looks like a great combination of the original Winston design and the comic counterpart.

The rest look like Hasbro toys and frankly I dislike how far from Iron Man they come off. That shotgun armor is terrible and looks like a rejected Robocop reboot design. Way more of a villain vibe from that thing.

Eh, even Iron Man can make villain looking suits....I agree tho, that last suit hinted at in the Facebook app is the space suit. Weird looking that other one :S

And Mark 17 is still my fave.
